if you really like the show, you should read the comics. They're more gruesome at parts, they curse, and it gets pretty sick and twisted (specially in the part they are now at in the show). They've changed some things that didn't happen like in the comics, but the story line overall is heading in the same direction. So if you're really a fan, i think you'll enjoy them.

To be honest, the first two seasons were good, but not ground breaking. They just seemed to drag endlessly. However, this season is a turn around. It's a lot more serious and Lori isn't as annoying. It's developing into an outstanding show with this new season. Yes, I am quite aware that there are only two episodes out, but they have been well written, solid and worth it.

Love the show. That and Breaking Bad are my two favorite shows.
Breaking Bad any good?

Looking forward to it, It's gonna be better Lori is annoying as hell some times just like Carl, really don't like that kid.

I thought the first season, especially the very first episode, was the best so far. I liked season 2 even though they were stuck on a farm for the entire season, mostly because of Shane being really entertaining to follow, but I have to say there could have been faster progression. For season 3 I like it except for the fact the zombies have appeared to be quite.. harmless so far, but it will definitely change as the season progresses I think. Usually starts off kinda soft

WARNING! SPOILERS IN THIS RESPONSE! If you haven't season 2 I suggest you stop reading my response.

I agree with you on Lori, but Carl? Seriously? I mean honestly, how did you expect the kid to come out. In a world where everything is out to eat you, you get shot in the stomach by a freak accident and have to endure a traumatic surgery, having to shoot Zombie Shane in the head and watch dale die horribly, the only other kid your age was turned then shot in the head by your dad......Do you really think you're going to be some nice and happy thinking kid who has great morals and a sense of honor? His character is realistic and that's what I like about him... Of course he is going to get abit jaded and cocky. He no longer has the luxury of being a child or playing things safe at all times. I wouldn't be right in the head either. Personally Carl is one of favorite characters next to Glen.

Love the series! Favorite characters are Daryl, Glenn, and Andrea. Used to love Rick too, but he is getting on my nerves. One of the biggest points to season two was the difference of oppinion that existed between Rick and Shane. Rick was democratic, and did what was right...not what was for survival. Shane on the otherhand took any action into account in order to ensure survival. Now Rick has practically become Shane and it is irretating.

***Spoiler for those who didn't see the newest episode***

For example on Rick is how first of he has already established a "dictatorship". Second was how he let that prisoner get eaten. The kid was scared shitless because Rick randomly executed that guy (granted that he did the right thing in doing so!). It was entirely a Shane move when he did that!

MORE SPOILERS! PLEASE STOP READING IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED SEASON 2:

True, Rick is becoming alot more like shane, but he declared his "dictatorship" at the end of Season 2 after he had to kill Shane and then the farm got overrun. He said it himself, from now on it would be his way or the highway. I think that is the point of season 3. Like a warrior in constant battle, you begin to loose yourself and I think that is the whole focus on his character this season...finding that which he has lost to all the death he has witnessed. He is still traumatized from the whole farm deal so give him some time as Hershal said. He will return to us......Ah man Hershal......!:shy:
