THE VOIDSEERS
You must be registered for see images

A Voidseer is one that has become Void-touched. In the Ninja World, this has occurred through Nefarian’s Prismatic Plague, giving rise to a group of Void-touched humans who ultimately become noted as Voidseers. A Voidseer, like the name suggests, is one that peers into the Void itself. A Voidseer initially does not have access to their Shinkaigan, the Abyssal Eyes; this is because as a Dōjutsu, the Shinkaigan does not correlate with strength or trauma. Instead, it is related to the user’s knowledge of the inner workings of the cosmos themselves. As their knowledge improves so too does their visual prowess, eventually resulting in awakening their Shinkaigan.
Abilities:
  • Voidseer biographies have an innate 10% Insanity Resistance.
  • Voidseer bios gain an increase of +2 Bonus SPRT AP when they activate the Shinkaigan. They gain an additional +1 MIND AP should they activate the Cosmic Shinkaigan unless they are using Dual Abilities, in which case the ability with the highest AP boosts will apply. Shinkaigan techniques utilize the SPRT Attribute for damage.

Restrictions:
  • Unlocking a Voidseer biography can be made at any time, free of cost.
  • Requires Genin rank.

SHINKAIGAN//ABYSSAL EYES
You must be registered for see images

The Shinkaigan (深海), or the Abyssal Eyes and the Eyes of the Abyss, is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai that appears in the Voidseers. The Shinkaigan possesses two stages; unlike the Sharingan, which is awakened in emotional and stressful situations, the Shinkaigan awakens after the user gains sufficient knowledge and mastery over their Voidseer abilities. The Shinkaigan is a Dōjutsu derived from its unique connection to the Void itself. Its abilities exist in both space and time separately. This comes to be because the Void exists both as a separate dimension as well as a state in time. If one was to rewind the clocks far enough then everything, the world and the universe, would converge into the Void. In a sense, the Shinakigan are the only way for one to view and understand the Void on a conceptual level; to those who view the Void without the Shinkaigan are met with absolute darkness and a complete lack of understanding of its true nature. This can impact one’s sanity and mental state, with greater exposure to the Void and Shinkaigan techniques reducing one’s sanity toward a state of insanity. In the left eye the Shinkaigan allows the user to visually perceive lifeforces and the lifecycle. It derives this ocular power through the nature of the Void itself; the Void is a lifecycle that perpetually exists. It begins as nothing and eventually becomes something – the Primordial Goddess of Life. The right eye allows the Shinkaigan wielder to view the Void itself, perceiving it not as a point in time but as a place in space. Solomon notes that the Shinkaigan contrasts significantly with the Sharingan in that one is an eye of knowledge while the other is an eye of trauma. It is said that the user’s prowess with the Shinkaigan continues to increase indefinitely as their knowledge of the universe continues to expand, gazing infinitely into the abyss.
Abilities:
  • Through their left eye the user can perceive life force, vitality, and life cycles. The user becomes able to differentiate between different life forces. Advanced forms of this allows the user to make use of a type of lifecycle precognition that is necessary to utilize many of the Shinkaigan’s signature techniques.
  • The user’s right eye allows them to perceive the Void itself, and make use of the spatial based Shinkaigan techniques.
  • Users are able to peer into the Void itself, and from it discern the knowledge necessary to understand it.
  • Shinkaigan users have an intrinsic Insanity resistance of 20%.
  • Significantly improved visual acuity, able to track targets at four times speed.

Restrictions:
  • Requires Chuunin rank and 8000 Kumi.
  • Usage of successive Shinkaigan techniques within the same turn, Temporal or Spatial, reduce the effectiveness of their Sanity loss by 50% in techniques after the first.
  • One must own a basic Voidseer biography to be able to purchase the Shinkaigan and awaken it.
  • Passively activating the Shinkaigan requires the user to have held the Dōjutsu for one month.
  • Once obtained the user must undergo extensive training to master the Shinkaigan's techniques.
  • The Shinkaigan can be stolen or replicated by techniques like Chakra Edible. However, the thief does not gain the Shinkaigan's innate Insanity Resistance.

UCHŪ SHINKAIGAN
You must be registered for see images

The Uchū Shinkaigan, or the Cosmic Abyssal Eyes, is the evolved state of the Shinkaigan. Aside from the gods themselves, the Shinkaigan signifies the closest possible connection one can have to the Void. The Uchū Shinkaigan significantly improves the base Shinkaigan’s visual prowess, extending the reach and accuracy of their perceptive abilities. The user becomes able to see up to two landmarks from their position in the Ninja World, significantly increasing their reach with the Abyssal Eyes. It is said that the Cosmic Abyssal Eyes signify the pinnacle of the user’s insight into the cosmos and its inner workings. But in truth it is only the beginning; an achievement that represents the user only scratching the surface of cosmic mystery. Upon achieving the Uchū Shinkaigan the user must undergo training to master its basic abilities. Once their training is completed, they become able to specialize in either the Shinkaigan’s Spatial or Temporal powers, pursuing a line of abilities that they unlock as their proficiency with the Uchū Shinkaigan increases. Users with the Uchū Shinkaigan are noted to have reached the ‘Cosmic’ level of knowledge and understanding; they inherently cognize the universe differently from other humans. Because of this they gain an even greater amount of resistance to Insanity compared to a basic Shinkaigan user. But this resistance does not constitute total immunity; this is because even though their knowledge is significantly honed, they still lack a total, comprehensive view of the Universe itself.
Abilities:
  • Vastly empowered visual prowess, able to track targets at six times speed.
  • Allows the user’s left eye to become able to view lifecycles and lifeforces at a distance, letting the Shinkaigan’s visual reach extend two landmarks beyond the user’s position.
  • The user’s right eye becomes able to see and interact with the Void up to two landmarks from the user’s position.
  • Affords the user access to the unique Uchū Shinkaigan techniques.
  • Unlocks the user’s ability to pursue one of the Shinakigan Masteries, specializations that allow the user to focus on either the spatial or temporal capabilities of the Shinkaigan.
  • Uchū Shinkaigan have an intrinsic Insanity resistance of 50%.

Restrictions:
  • Cosmic Abyssal Eyes are classified as a Tier 5 ability.
  • Requires Jounin rank, Skills Test and Ability Mission.
  • Usage of successive Shinkaigan techniques within the same turn, Temporal or Spatial, reduce the effectiveness of their Sanity loss by 50% in techniques after the first.
  • Passively activating the Uchū Shinkaigan requires the user hold it for two months.

THE VOID
You must be registered for see images

The Void is described as a place in space and a point in time. It is the primordial universe before the universe today took shape. If one rewound the clocks back far enough then everything in the known universe, including our world, would converge into the Void. The Void is formed from a homogenous type of energy, known as Chaos. It is a type of reality-bending energy that is typically reserved for the highest tier of Divine entities. But through the Shinkaigan the user becomes able to access the Void and its energy, though not at a Divine level. The Void powers the user’s Shinkaigan, which allows it to make use of its Spatial abilities.

The Void and Chaos are naturally random in nature, attributed to their Chaotic origins. This gives all Void techniques that come from the Shinkaigan an uncontrollable element of randomness to their usage. This makes them potentially rewarding, or punishing, to use. All Void techniques have no inherent elemental strengths or weaknesses. Rather, by being introduced into the shaped universe as it is today giving them a random elemental interaction. This is determined through a random roll in the Naruto Roleplay Official Rolls channel. The second element of randomness, typically manifesting in higher ranked Shinkaigan techniques, is a random increase to their damage. This is explicitly stated in individual techniques, rather than broadly applied in all techniques. Aside from these elements of randomness, the Void and Shinkaigan Chaos have no special qualities. It is an energy without temperature, appearing as mixture between Fire and Water Releases, and typically is a mixture of dark blue and purple in coloration.

t!choose Earth | Water | Fire | Wind | Lightning
Characteristics:
  • Chaos originates from the Void. Chaos is an elementally neutral energy that, upon being used by a Shinkaigan user, takes on a randomly selected elemental strength or weakness.
  • Chaos, specific to the technique used, can be randomly augmented to do significantly increased damage.
  • Moves at the speed of a Lightning Release technique.

Restrictions:
  • Chaos and Void-based customs are prohibited.
