Suzuha stands amidst a grove of bamboo, the young Valkyrie waiting in the early dawn light, her surroundings faintly illuminated by the cresting sun. The air is fresh and crisp as a light fog surrounds her in a faint mist.

With her katana strapped across her back, and having discarded her track jacket earlier, the young woman feels the the cool air move over her exposed arms. Though wearing only track shorts and a tank-top, she knows that she is in for the fight of her life, and that she will heat up soon enough.

Punching her fist into her other hand, she psychs herself up, aiming to prove herself to one of the most renound swordsmen in all the lands.

I'll be using Keotsu. What rules of engagement shall we be using? Same as last time: pure freeform?
_____________
Keotsu leisurely strolls through the forest, wearing today an outfit very much inspired by his traveling companion Mifune; wearing a pair of khaki cargo-pants, with the ends tucked into his shin-high boots, and wearing a black muscle shirt, and with a katana sitting happily on his left hip, tied to him through a cord, and tucked into a white obi.

The dirt underfoot compresses slightly with each step, the sound of which faintly makes its way to Keotsu's ears as the wind blows, causing his long brown hair - tied back into a pony tail - to sway from side to side, as do the large bamboo shoots.

Taking a deep breath, Keotsu feels invigorated. The scent of water and bamboo is strangely calming and enticing to the swordsman, honing his focus before the second duel he will be having with a young woman by the name of Suzuha. She seemed eager to prove herself, and Keotsu did appreciate her spunk; she was not much younger than he was, and reminded him of himself.

Seeing the same young woman some distance ahead, Keotsu rolled his shoulders, relaxing his muscles and preparing for the fight.

Eventually, he stops before the young woman, a distance of about five meters between them. He could see the determined smile on the young woman's face.

"So, Miss Amane. Are you ready?"

Keotsu placed his left hand on the hilt of his katana, Nagarebohsi, and awaited her answer.
