I was thinking. How can a universe exist, it makes no sense at all. Everything has a begining and an end!

Religion:

God created everything.

Counter, who created God? He can't just be there, i was born, you were born.I will die and you will die.Most religious people say he was just there but can't explain it or "time does not apply to God". None of you can answer that queation.

Research the Big Bang and the extents of nuclear fusion and I think that you may have found an answer for yourself, the only unexplained concept is, where did that small ball of pent up energy come from, scientist have ideas but none too solid, looking up some stuff about the Big Bang is guaranteed to help though =D

the big bang theory resolve around the universe being created from a physically impossible to exist particle with an impossible simall dimension with an impossible level of heat,energy,density with the physics's standards,then big bang happened by expanding that point.so it has to be an omnipotent existance that create that miracle,that if the big bang theory is right.
meh there's always something we shouldn't really think it too much.since honestly it's useless to question whether the universe exists or not since you can't do anything abou it.

I'm just gonna post this quick and respond late if I'm quoted, I'm pressed for time and this is likely my last post here for a day or 2.

The law of cause an affect is more or less: "Any material cause has an effect that came before is and is greater than it." God is not material, and it is absurd to bind Him with the laws of the material universe. if you draw a circle on the board, the laws of chalk world don't affect you as the creator. You are on a whole 'nother plane of existence.

[First, Christianity doesn't run from science, rather it the uneducated who do (not saying that in any derogatory way at all). It is embraced as it matches up with scripture. Interestingly enough, "science" (big bang/evolution/etc) requires quite a lot of blind belief, as well as several contradictions with scientific laws. But that's another discussion for another time, I just wanted to say this, not argue it.]

Yeah, the laws of thermodynamics, bio-genesis, and some other things such as design and a degree of common sense screw that up. Explosions from nothing don't create an ordered and seemingly infinitely complex universe.


If there ever was a time when there was absolutely nothing, then there would be absolutely nothing to this day. However, there obviously is something here, and a lot of it. Therefore, by necessity, there has always been Something. That Something is God

The ultimate question for smartass atheists and sceptics in general:
You always use Big Bang as an argument and say that universe was made out of a particle that had eventually gotten pumped up (in lack of proper scientific terms) and thus created whole universe system, am I right? But who created that single particle? What do you think? It couldn't just appear from nowhere?
