The union of 'Ashura' and 'Indra' seems silly?

It's evident that by the end of the manga, we will have Naruto and Sasuke uniting to defeat Madara, effectively ending the strife that has been ongoing for seemingly centuries between Ashura and Indra.

Whilst this is a good way to round off the series and the theme itself is alright, what I don't like is how Kishi is portraying the Senju way and the Uchiha way as the only ways. So because Naruto and Sasuke are joined together, the conflict around the entire ninja world just stops? Remember Nagato, Orochimaru, Hidan, Kakuzu, Deidara, Sasori and Konan all didn't need the spirit of Indra to make them turn 'evil'. Indra doesn't influence every single revolutionary or war criminal.

Yes, I know it's a shonen so every conflict will be solved, but this theme has just always irked me, even though I do like it to some extent.

The others can't realy do anything right now. Kishi is creative enough to find a way to involve them

i know why u ask this.
I think the answer is that "just by uniting these two to defeat Madara" the conflict will not end. After the fight, Naruto will be leading all shinobi and will unite all villages

You raise some good points. I dont think the cooperation of indra and ashura means everything automatically turns peaceful. I think that it means the "beginning" of a new way or peaceful age in their time.

I think of it like this - for centuries indra and ashura's reincarnations have fought again and again. It is literal but also figurative because both sides represent the 2 main ideologies. Power > love, or love > power.

After madara is defeated, Naruto and Sasuke will either combine their ideologies to lead the rest of the shinobi (with their current OP-ness) in a harmonious balance of love and power OR Sasuke will already accepted Naruto's(Ashura's) Ideology to be a better way. (which was also why so6p originally chose Ashura as the successor.)

Its not them coming together that will cause all the conflict to disappear, its just that they can't get anything accomplished while they are fighting.

Naruto and Sasuke reconciling won't fix all the problems, just one problem, there are many other grudges out their.

That's why the Sage gave them all that power, not just to stop Madara but to change the world.

Remember his words, "I have decided, you two will decide the future from now on."
