That thread quickly got off topic and misidentified the ninja who's face was not shown.
In the current chapter, Ch. 645, when Sasuke is thinking about Naruto's powers, there is a ninja who's right leg and arm are shown.
Because there are words on that panel that seem to complete Sasuke's line of thought, it may first appear that it is Sasuke. However that is not Sasuke, which the previously mentioned thread believed it was and made an argument as to why it didn't show his face. The clothes do not match up to Sasuke. That image shows a shinobi with black sleeves and black pants, Sasuke is not wearing any sleeves, his arms are bare.
When I first saw it I actually thought it might be Shikamaru because it seems like the unidentified ninja is wearing a vest, but the panel in question does seem to show a rope like what Sasuke wears in the very bottom right corner. The only other person I know that wears that rope is Orochimaru and he wears black pants and black sleeves.
I also considered Kakashi, but Kakashi has a white wrap around his right leg and that is not shown.
The clenched fist shows that this person is enraged/passionate about something. The words with that panel could be Sasuke's thoughs over someone else's picture, but I believe it could actually be meant towards Obito. Somebody new on the battlefield, like a kage, who wonders how things got this far. But the kages don't know who obito is.
So at the end I've been able to identify who that unidentified ninja is not, but not who it is. Any thoughts?
