I don't know why we were asked this (even if it's rhetorical) we've known what U.I. is for a long time, a very few of us realizing that Offensive/Defensive U.I. was a fallacy and that they are one single form

That should’ve been Vegeta so f*ck Akira Toriyama. Btw, the entire anime is technically not canon but I WISH Boruto’s anime would’ve jumped ahead of the manga like DB Super did.

Not really, a few important things happen differently. For instance, in the manga: Goku goes SS3 against #17 when they meet for the first time. Goku also goes SSJ3 against Toppo and SSG in the exhibition tournament. The Anime spammed the **** out of SSGSS where the power scaling was all over the place but the manga clears up a lot of false information. Therefore, it can’t really be counted as canon

I didn’t watch or read Dragon ball so you’re probably right. Unless you’re talking about the entire Dragon Ball animated series then that’s debatable. I’m pretty sure the manga were finished ahead of the anime but I could be wrong.

I feels very tempted to say that after all this nonsense anime is just for a lulz but manga is the real deal. All along this time I only recognized the manga story *be it any series that started from manga*, not so for anime.

OT the UI offense/defense was a hella theory to put Vegeta on equal terms on the power scale. They didn't even give Vegeta's new mode a name..
It kinda sucks he didn't get the technique in this tournament..

I hope so but I'd like to see how he gets it rather then just give it to him just because Son has it.. Raw battle or desperation battle is fine, I just wanna see him attain it in a life or death battle situation..

Veggie deserves some love after 20+ years!..

SSBE Vegeta is anime filler to fix the KK thing. If Goku was going to get MUI then they should have gave Vegeta at least UI omen. I think Vegeta should have been given SSBE in the black arc against his fight with black so he didn't get completey overshadowed by the 2 new transformations goku got in the tournament

Yea it’s kinda sad, Goku didn’t even look twice, although it can be argued they where in the heat of things. I think the most truly overlooked part of his new form was his ability to just nullify Toppos hakkai(sp?) that in itself is pretty f cking impressive
