The Uchiha's Power

As we know, the Sage chose the Younger Son over the Elder Son. Due to this, the Elder Son through a temper tantrum and attacked his brother for power and as the years went by the Elder and Younger sprouted the Uchiha and Senju Clan's respectively. However, this "injustice" may have been the very source of the Uchiha's power.

Tobirama Senju stated that the source of an Uchiha's Sharingan (and it's evolutionary stages) are loss of love and/or despair:

This being said, if the Sage chose his oldest son over the youngest, or simply chose both to rule, how would have the Uchiha awakened their powers? If both ruled, then their would be peace, so how would that peace cause an Uchiha to achieve a Mangekyō Sharingan, let alone any Sharingan?

Pretty much. The Elder Son should have taken the hit like a man instead of being a total b*tch about it. Like really? Kill your brother, your family, over your daddy's choice?

I don't think the Sharingan would even exist if it weren't for all of that, unless there is an unknown factor into getting Sharingan, which at this point seems kind of unlikely since we've been flat out told why they have it.

The major thing is that the uchih is. Very powwerful clan, and maybe the senju is just slightly stronger
