No other clan was shown to be more complete when you look at an individual perspective. They were the best clan and the most versatile. This is why the uchiha on any Jounin team is always the character with the most potential because they derive from true completeness. Kakshi for example knew Sasuke had the most potential and only turned his attention away from that after Sasuke left the Village. Same with Minato's team, Obioto had the most potential and did even in the end. There were other clans like the Senju, who were strong because of Hashirama but they couldn't even stand the test of time and were almost all gone by the time Naruto's era came around.

I did say give them time and they'd self destruct and they did when that time came you're just too ignorant or a fanboy. Sure Itachi wiped out the clan for the village's sake but who set everything in motion? Madara. He manipulated Obito who in turn unleashed the nine tails on the village which in turn brought the uchiha clan under suspicion and then Obito helped Itachi to wipe out the clan.
So I am not wrong in saying the uchihas wiped themselves out lol. They set the events in motion for their own destruction.
