The Uchiha Misconseption: Izanami/gi is OP

Ha! I don't hate Itachi, like i said in the thread, he's one of my favorite shinobi! I admit, he is one of the best!!! I just believe he's getting overrated, like he said himself in the manga. He cannot do everything, but he will beat the hell out of your favorite shinobi... and they mama-san.



I'd admit too, that izanami is quite OP in itself when used correctly, but there are so many potential flaws to it. Can you still fight in the real world when you have someone under Izanami? Does the "loop" continue "forever" if the shinobi never choses the given fate? Is time in the genjutsu the same as real life...? If so, Kabuto can stall while Madara starts killing Kages (I'm sure we will see this soon). Do you really have to "prep" the jutsu before it's activated? Can it place more than one "mind" in the genjutsu at once? What if Kabuto's snake can awaken him from the genjutsu attached to him? What if Tobi uses the Zetsu spores he placed on him to save his life like he did for Sasuke...? What will One Eye Willie do then?!? LOL

Apart from those two ...other points i think No ... Izanami is not a simple genjutsu that can be undone that easily ...
and if u see the last page carefully .... itachi puts his hand on the head of kabuto ... that i think the event is going on in kabutos mind ... in real life hes standing still ... so u can fi8 in real life i guess

There is a reason why EMS = is called eternal.

It will never lose its light.

Rinnegan is even higher dojutsu = so it will also never lose its light no matter wat the tech is.

MS and S = on the other hand are not Eternal.

Edo person with MS and S = could have Eternal usage of their eyes.

Since their eyes are part of their body , and they will take the form , when they died before summoned as EDO.

To kisamexRocks: The whole point of the thread is to prove that Izanami and Izanagi is NOT OP. I did say briefly that Izanami can be OP if used correctly, and this is true for Izanagi as well even though i didnt explicitly say it. But overall, there are so many disadvantages to the jutsus that it takes away the "OP"ness of it. The technique itself is OP ... BUT... the jutsus you lose in order to do Izanami/gi cripples that shinobi. It takes away from the potential OPness of the techniques. I dont think EITHER technique is TRULY OP b/c of the Side Effects.

bl4ckJack : Do you really think he could fight in real life AND keep control over the jutsu? Even though this is happening in Kabuto's mind, I think Itachi can still "see" whats happening and is participating in his "vision". It would be hard to keep watch of whats happening in Kabuto mind AND fight another shinobi. Theory though, thats all
