Obito wasn't using wood release. He was just balancing a twig.

Anyone can get the KG they want provided that they must find a means to somehow steal the KG and incorporate the KG in their body.

Further examples which are not Uchihas:
1. Ao having byakugan.
2. Kabuto assimilating a number of KGs from Snake members in his body.
3. Kakashi having Sharingan.
4. Yamato having wood release.
5. Danzo having sharingan and wood release.

First off the fact that they were able to utilize Hashirama's KG doesn't equate to them being able to assimilate EVERY KG maybe only certain ones.

For people doubting Obito has wood release look back at page 13. The stick is on his Zetsu hand which is Madaras key to Hashiramas power it seems and it also makes creaking sound effects as if it's growing. As to why it looks the way it does it came out of his palm and is still funneling out which is why it looks broken on op and thin/pointed on the bottom.
