So I ran into a thread not too long ago stating wat are the things wished to b asked of kishi b4 the manga were to end... 1 of them as how itachi got his spirit weapons... How does this sound :
Madara was collected and was in possession of those spirit weapons... Having needed a worthy disciple, madara planned on passing his items unto another who could claim them and use them to complete his plan of infinite tsukuyomi.. Obito was a worthy match, but wasn't able to use the weapons for he would not be able to use them.. In order to store them some place safe , not expecting obito to use them ( but potentially could ), Madara gave him the spirit weapons, as he gave obito many weapons and taught him many jutsu... Obito had possession of the weapons and kept them in his kamui dimension , 1 of the reasons orochimaru was not able to track down the location of the weapons .... Being the astonishing genius that he is...
Continuing , obito met with nagato, but he was not a suitable match to properly wield the weapons... And thus went on , finding new akatsuki members , nine of which were suitable matches.. Until, he met Itachi Uchiha.... He found a strong, smart , worthy Uchiha that could wield the legendary weapons... Obito gave the weapons to itachi, who equipped them to his susanoo ... N they began what would be known as the Uchiha Massacre .. The End..
