It is innate to them. That is why they are able to survive Bijuu extraction like Kushina

and Juubi extraction like Rikudou.

The Doujutsu that is able to bring forth all Ninjutsu should logically come from the Juubi which is the source of all Chakra that fuels Ninjutsu.

While I also thing that the Uzumaki are actually from the same clan as Rikudo, I think the way you related them to the Uchihas is far-fetched.

The symbol of the Uzumaki can also be explained by the name of their land - Whirlpool. A whirlpool has a spiraling behavior and this might have led them to drawing their clan symbol in such a way.

Note that I share the conclusion of your thread, but your argumentation is not solid. From hair color to clan symbol, everything there is actually no fact.
