[Theory] The True Path To Peace

In the course of the whole story, we have seen many characters trying to bring peace. This includes Kaguya, Hagoromo, Indra and Ashura, Madara and Hashirama and the list just goes on. But none of them are able to attain true peace. Regardless of the argument of Hatred, I think there is another reason to this - The lack of stability.

There are many Forces which operate in the manga trying to bring peace. Theses forces could be a character, a clan, an organisation or even a nation. I will show why none of these forces were able to achieve peace due to the reason of "Lack of Stability".

The One Force

If only one force is allowed to operate, even if it wants to, it can never achieve peace.

This is best said by Hagoromo.

Kaguya single handedly tries to bring peace but fails in her pursuit.

And is transformed into a demon representing Chaos.

You must be registered for see images

This one force pathway to peace is not restricted to only Kaguya.

It extends even to Tobi/Obito.

And to Madara.

You must be registered for see images

Both tried to bring peace by Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Until it turned out that Infinite Tsukuyomi was never a pathway to peace but actually a cover-up for something much more evil.

That is the creation of a White Zetsu army and the annihilation of Humanity.

The one force pathway is also taken up by Sasuke,

Who tries to single handedly bring peace.

You must be registered for see images

Through his revolution.

Even Naruto tries to do the same, trying to bring peace himself, until he is stopped by Itachi.

The only thing this pathway does is make the One force a complete dictatorship and this brings a lust for power which in turn brings Chaos.

So, Peace can never be achieved with one force in operation.

The Two Forces

The Two forces duality is extended throughout the series, examples being :-

Ashura and Indra.
Hashirama and Madara
Naruto and Sasuke.

While duality forces operating might bring peace i.e; The Shinobi village system created by Madara and Hashirama, the peace is only temporary.

Because in the end, One force will completely dominate the other force which destroys the foundation of peace.

Which has been referenced many times throughout the manga,

It all started when Hagoromo choose Ashura as the Successor over Indra making Ashura dominant.

Which in turn started the cycle of hatred and the Transmigration.

This caused the submission of the Uchiha Clan by The Senju Clan,

And the Uchiha Clan Massacre.

Hagoromo in order to rectify his mistakes gives both forces, i.e; Naruto and Sasuke power.

But this fails due to the Dominant tendency between the two forces.

Yin and Yang

Chakra also consists of Two Forces : Yin (Spiritual Energy) and Yang (Physical Energy).

Even when Yin and Yang were balanced, it didn't bring Peace, which was the original intention.

Instead it only brought Choas and War, when the two forces, Yin and Yang were combined.

So, two forces can never attain peace because there will always be a Dominant and Recessive tendency operating.

The Dominant Force (Senju) triumphing.

And the Submissive Force (Uchiha) being annihilated.

The Three Forces

In the manga interestingly, If there are Three forces operating simultaneously, they are able to bring True Peace.

Senjutsu is the Counter balancing of Yin (Spiritual Energy), Yang (Physical Energy) and Natural Energy.

The person succeeding in balancing the above three forces is able to bring true peace and is called a Sage and by it's description

A "Sage" (仙人, Sennin) is someone who is able to utilise senjutsu (仙術; Literally meaning "Sage Techniques"), and has mastered the art of Sage Mode or someone given said title because of their renown for their great power, wisdom, or holy standing.

A sage is a person who can bring true peace.

The three forces balance each other out. As such there is no Dominant or Submissive force. If one force gets dominant, the other two forces will work together and remove the dominance bringing true peace.

Granted, The three forces have not been shown in the manga operating and bringing peace, but could Kishi have foreshadowed it through Senjutsu ?

What's pretty weird is that the Senjutsu which brings peace also brings Chaos and Insanity. Juugo's Senjutsu and Orochimaru's cursed seals are some examples.

The obvious question is why is it so ?

Well, the answer is pretty speculative and can be found in another theory of mine :

The main thing is that if Three forces co-operate with each other then true peace can be achieved.

In the current situation, Naruto and Sasuke are two forces and they are fighting each other.

Well, I couldn't find any third force which would fit with Sasuke and Naruto properly at this point in the manga.

Initially, I thought it would be Obito and Hashirama, but that didn't happen.

So, only Sakura fits, according to the Team 7 philosphy. Remember Slug-Snake-Frog ? There's a hint of counter-balance there.

No, matter how small it may be, Sakura did play a role in Kaguya's sealing along with Naruto and Sasuke.

Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, if they work together can bring true peace.

This is an interesting twist to balancing the power - bringing in a third force.

Everything in the Naruto Sasuke fight so far seems to be following the first time it happened:

Sakura begs Sasuke; Sasuke knocks out Sakura then leaves; Naruto follows him to the VoTe; Sasuke has killing intent while Naruto wants simply to stop him.

I was shocked when Sakura begged Sasuke this time. I thought she'd stand up to him. Maybe Kishi held her back all this time to develop her in the final chapters? If she does make a difference in the fight, it would be shocking.

Nicely done, it makes sense that Sakura is the counter of the 2 force hence why she had always wants them to stop fighting, I can bet that Sakura can break out the genjutsu since Kakashi always praises her as genjutsu type, she's the best in chakra control, and Sasuke genjutsu isn't as strong if we're comparing to Itachi.

I can't really add much. I find the symbolism of the Taijitu (the Yin Yang Symbol) versus the symbolism of the Triskelion (the three legged version of the same - as seen in the symbolism of the Senjutsu diagram or Itachi's MS) interesting although I must be honest that I've never understood why three forces in disharmony/harmony can bring peace where two forces in disharmony/harmony cannot. Good read.

Well, there is a way, But I don't know whether it's BS or makes complete sense. It's simple to understand but the plot is pretty expanded.

First comes the Three forces and the supreme God :-

Generation - Creation - Shinju.

Operation - Preservation - Kaguya.

Dissolution - Destruction - Sojobo.

G + O + D = GOD.

(G) Shinju + (O) Kaguya + (D) Sojobo = The One (GOD) - The true and ultimate GOD.

The forces of Creation, Preservation and Destruction are cyclic.

Creation - Preservation - Destruction - Creation - Preservation - Destruction and so on.

Taking the above; there is no connecting link here; all three connect each other.

Here, The Celestial Symbolism is as Follows :-

Shinju - Earth - Natural Energy.

Kaguya - Sun - Physical Energy - Yang.

Sojobo - Moon - Spiritual Energy - Yin.

Then, my theory on How the Supreme God will end the world :

Senjutsu on the other hand balances the Three Forces - Yin, Yang and Natural Energy.

This brings Peace and the person is called a Sage.

If we take that :-

Shinju = Natural Energy.

Kaguya = Yang/Physical Energy.

Sojobo = Yin/Spiritual Energy.

Chakra Chaos Logic :-

Chakra is the true union of

Yin and Yang.

Sojobo and Kaguya (Husband and Wife, theorised by me Lol)

Darkness and Light.

Which creates :-

Hagoromo and Hamura [Both represent Chakra = Yin (Sojobo) + Yang (Kaguya)] who have chakra and eventually spread it to everyone.

Take a look at the Yin-Yang symbol, especially the two dots.

There is Yin in Yang, Yang in Yin.

Or Destruction in Preservation , Preservation in Destruction, both are one.

And The Supreme God's Pseudo energy is released, Chaos and war come.

Senjutsu Chaos Logic :-

If the three energies namely;

Shinju = Natural Energy.

Kaguya = Yang/Physical Energy.

Sojobo = Yin/Spiritual Energy.

are not counter-balanced, Creation, Preservation and Destruction will fuse and become one, Once again the Supreme God's power gets unleashed and Choas comes.

If you ask me Unstable Senjutsu is represented with three dots in all of the three forces making them one :-

Senjutsu Symbol :-

A true sage will counter-balance the three forces.

The Senjutsu symbol has no dots. This means the three forces are not mixing and becoming one.

Which prevents the Supreme God's energy from leaking out and bringing Choas.

The end result is Peace.

That was a very nice thread. Good job!

I enjoyed everything you said about the forces. It's true that, in the history of naruto, one force, or two forces have never worked. But you gotta keep in mind also that peace was never really achieved in nv period, regardless of who tried. It's just story wise, peace would never be established bc naruto will be the one to bring peace. This doesn't take away from the validity of your argument but it's just smth to keep in mind.

It's interesting to see tho that three forces has never really been attempted, I never realised that but I'm pretty confident that it won't happen. Even if your thread made sense, imo there's no way that sakura would be involved in bringing peace to nv. Still great thread

True peace cannot be brought by Sasuke or Naruto alone, because it falls under the One Force Thingy. Even if Naruto and Sasuke co-operate, the peace will break apart eventually due to the dominant - recessive tendencies.

The only way peace can be achieved is if Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura work together and counter-balance each other. This stops both Dictatorship and the Dominant - Recessive tendencies from arising which erode the foundations of peace.

At least that's the basic idea.

If we go by the Three forces logic, i.e; Yin/Spiritual Energy, Yang/Physical Energy and Natural Energy, then it seems they can be either a medium to bring Peace or Chaos. Or with the One Force, "The end of the World".

The One Force :-

As the Technique essentially "Makes Everyone One".

I think the statement "To make everything One" has more implications than first glance.

The One Force brings neither "Peace" nor "Chaos".

It simply brings "The Void" or "The End of the World" as "Everything in Existence becomes One".

No War, No Peace, Nothing. A Perfect World......

Now, that we are going beyond the One Force and involving another force or two more forces, it seems there is a divide over "Peace" and "Chaos".

"Peace" is obtained if the forces are counter-balanced.

And "Chaos" is obtained if the forces are combined.

The Two Forces :-

The Two Forces are generally involved with Yin/Spiritual Energy and Yang/Physical Energy .

Hagoromo's Ninshuu (Pathway to Peace) :-

In Hagoromo's Ninshuu, the two forces, Yin/Spiritual Energy and Yang/Physical Energy are counter balanced, which brings peace.

It can be represented by :-

The Yin-Yang symbol without Dots.
