I just came up with a concept on why everything seem off center ......
The real reason behind Madara's war with Hashirama was to gain his abilities..
That is as simple as that ...
Now it may seem that it was for revenge ...but i think not...
Let us summarize what we have so far ....
First off i would mention that i dont believe that there was any such thing as countless battles between hashirama and madara ....I believe that it was a methophoric statement explaining what we have just seen in the lastest chapter of the manga explianing the on going hatred of both clans.....
I would say that these two had maybe an agenda or the ideal of this theory of World peace ...and to me it looks as if madara wanted it badly..
Now the issue may have been this ....
Madara and hashirama may have the drive to learn about all things ...
All things being everything....The Sage ...The Ancestors....All Ninjutsu....Peace....
What if ...by some reasoning Madara came to bare witness the ability of hashirama and found it to be remarkable..Wood element...you know earth and water mixed.....
Let see out in the ninja world there were other mixed abilities....
Kekkei Genkkei's....
But there was none like Hashirama.....because it came with a great advantage ...it was infused with love and the force of life itself....
i remember a chapter of the manga ..Madara had wish he had taught hashirama how to come back from the dead...hmmm..What did Madara taught Hashirama and what was the purpose of his teachings..The so call forrbidden scroll had many forbidden jutsu in it....was any of them madara's own....
