The Tobi as Obito Old ''Theory''

what were the threads like about the Obito threads, did you think they were stupid? Were you shocked in the reveal? Even if you supported the theory? Did you feel like you need to cry after telling people ''ITS NOT OBITO''' for years and years. Tell me about the past.

The idea and the consensus back that is that obito is waaay to obvious and a poor choice to be tobi, and it didn't fit the description in more ways than one. but here we are.

At first I had made theories that it could be Izuna but after thinking about it a little more, I thought that it must have been Obito. I mean plot wise it would be a great twist. The fallen hero that becomes the main villain. I always like the idea of people becoming from good to bad and not the other way around. It's more interesting adn breaks the cliche of the bad guy looking for redemption to become good at the end.

I thought it would be Obito at first then people on this forum began making threads as to how it can't be Obito and then I thought it can't be Obito and made my own theories as to how it might be Izuna.

I remember the people that thought he was obito had rediculous reasons for it..that any logical person would refute.. basically it all came down to the eye and kamui and the hair.. only appearence but the motivations etc. the change of obito to tobi was rediculous..

And the people who said it wasn't obito didn't have the imagination to see the possibilities of it being obito, it was just impossible for obito to become like that (but kishi showed it was possible) and then they were just throwing in random names, like kagami, izuna and even danzou.. basically for the same reasons, appearance.

My friend , back before the reveal there were at least 1000 threads of people showing off and saying "Masked man is Obito Uchiha..proof", etc. Tbh, i was one of the people that DID NOT believe it was going to be Obito..

When it was revealed then all the "I was right" , "See, obito = masked man" threads began. Lets just say the Mods/Admins had a lot of work during those days aha.

Now to my reaction of masked man being Obito Uchiha. I had a deep feeling it could be him thats why i wasn't surprised. Plus, the amount of people guessing who was behind the mask threw away the element of surprise.
