I fall to my knees and start to cry heavily. My Boss. My friend. Both of them died in front of my eyes in an instant.
Sara: Matthew! Noah! No! You can’t be dead! Not this way.
Why would someone do that to them and everyone else? They never deserved this. Nobody did.
???: um Ma’am, are you alright?
I look up to see an old man with a cane and a bag on his shoulder. He looked so old but yet so young at heart. I wonder who he could be?
Sara: Yes. I’m alright. What is your name by the way?
???: My name is Ivan. I’m traveling to the nearest town to find some food and shelter. I hear that there is going to be a huge rainstorm soon. Your welcome to come with me too
Sara: Thank you Ivan.
I don’t know who this guy is but I have this feeling that something worse has happened. I can’t place it but there must be something wrong here. As me and Ivan start to walk toward s the nearest village, which is I’m guessing in Pella in 356 BC, the city where Alexander the Great was born, I get this weird knot in my stomach. It must be because something major must have happened back in my time period.
-Back in 2012 at Sanctuary-
The place is in ruins. Sanctuary is nothing but a black floating cloud along with the Angels landing, where they can head down to Earth to appear in front of people as a sign, and the Clearings, where the time travelers head for the past and future. The clouds are really dark and red, making everything on Earth look like doomsday. A man in a black, Smokey cloak stands before a few time travelers that have be tied up.
Guy1: That’s the last of the time traveler’s we can round up, Lord.
Cloaked guy: Good and of the bodies?
Guy1: they seem to turn to dust when they die or hit the atmosphere without clearance first, Lord.
Cloaked Guy: What a shame. We could have used most of those people later.
Guy2: My Lord, something has gone wrong. 6 people have escaped. 2 of them are Angels that are on Earth somewhere right now, 1 has traveled to the future and 3 have traveled back into the past.
Cloaked Guy: Who are the 3 that have traveled to the past?
The guy creates an orb in his hand and it shows a picture on the orb
Guy2: I cannot find 2 of them, but this girl was easy to find.
The orb shows a girl traveling with an old man. The orb zooms in on the girl to show Saraphina. Suddenly, the smoke around the cloaked guy starts to become thicker and denser, making the people that have survived thus far choke a bit on the smoke.
Cloaked Guy: That’s the girl that got away from me with that bright light of hers! I want this girl found immediately. I want her brought back here alive so that I can finish her off myself! Nobody escapes the wrath of the Devil himself and gets away with it!
Guy1 and 2: Yes my Lord!
Both of the guys start to glow red and they head towards the past where Saraphina is. The devil himself keeps looking at the orb in his hand as he hears something in the background. He looks up and see’s the bright light of heaven shine down on the black and red cloud landscape. A man wearing the brightest armor appears before the Devil himself.
???: You’ve gone too far Satan! Turning most of my time travelers and Angels into dust! How could you?!
Satan: Oh if it isn’t the big dog himself. How’s it going God? You seem to be getting older. Are you sure you’re not dying yet?
God: You know perfectly well that I don’t age and besides the fact, we had an agreement many decades ago. You were never to step foot on Holy Land ever in your lifetime.
Satan: That may be so but times have changed. I’ve fed on people’s fears for far too long. All there hate and anger gets sent straight to me and all the people you reject get sent straight to my front door step. I have to hear them constantly go over how they wanted to be in Heaven and that hell is no place for them. But there is the upside to it all. I get to control them, and force them to do my bidding ad now the time has come for everyone to see what I can really do.
God: You may as well give up because I’m not letting you continue your little charade. You’ve broken this agreement and now you must pay.
Satan: Oh so you’re going to actually fight me, that would be a first. I hate to break it to you but that won’t happen today. Just a fair warning, if you do anything to try and stop me, I will kill every single last human on Earth in an instant and there will be nothing left but the dead ground and bodies everywhere. Now Goodbye.
Satan disappears, leaving the tied up time travelers and God to stand there in shock. With the snap of his finger, God releases the tied up time travelers and they all try to figure out what to do next. One of them is a small girl who looks about 9 who walks up to God and looks at him.
Little Girl: What are we going to do?
God: Listen up time travelers I need at least 3 to stay here, 2 to go into the past and help Saraphina, and the other 2 to go to the future and help out whoever is there. Understood!
Time travelers: Yes Sir!
The little girl plus two other men with shaggy blonde hair stay with god while a redheaded woman and a blonde man go to help Saraphina. The other two, who are both twins with black hair, head towards the future in hopes that whoever is there can help out.
