The Threshold

Threshold is characterized by tall mountains and deep canyons. The area is sparsely inhabited and rarely traversed, except by miners seeking to find precious minerals in the depths of its mountain ranges. The largest feature of the area is a large, uneven and unexplored chasm beneath one of the mountains, so deep it is said to be the gate to the underworld. Some mountainous animals live here, and many species of birds come here seasonally.

After the moon had fallen and the world had come to an evergrowing change, this has become yet another home for the Arali. The Arali enjoyed the deep chasms and the fact that humans thought the depths of these canyons were specifically a gate to the underworld. The myths seemingly became true as humans regularly see Arali of all natures coming from within the canyons. There has been many villages and settlements created here and the Arali that have claimed the area are more aggressive towards humans than any other settlement.

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
Defeat an abomination summoned by the necromancers (4)
Summary: While enjoying his time alone as he was planning to head back to the village he was recently assigned to. Bought to be a solider for the village and do it’s bidding, he is intercepted by an atrocity that was summoned in the factory. A creature that he’d have to put out of misery, however such a thing was beyond words.


On the windiest day, the night howling as he walked through the forest. Determined to seek the power to unlocking his clan’s secrets. He moved against the rain, vertical as he powered through hold onto trees as they swayed backwards from him. Channeling his chakra through his feet, he’d keep moving in the storm. Ikiru could see up ahead a factory of sorts, in the mud. He would stomp onwards into the factory moments later. Things in the world having been in chaos since they lose of world leaders, new places had started to form with claims to being the next world power. This didn’t bother him at all, rather only care to get vengeance on the group of people that took everything from him.


Inside the factory he’d hear screams and people running, yells of distress echoed through the hallways. Ikiru at that moment he’d activated his sharingan. Moving down the hall, itching to reach in time, silence grew. With his steps bouncing off the walls, droplets of water dripping, he was alone in a quiet factory. Outside the winds didn’t yield as the windows shook with excitement. Ikiru knew something was wrong here, as he crafted his way through the wreaked factory. He’d trend carefully trying to not alarm whatever was or who could be waiting to attack.

Description:One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 chakra consumption per turn penalty

Each room he entered explored different formulas, each dorm gave him information about the factory. ‘What in the world is this place, what are this expressions?’ Ikiru thought to himself as he sneaked down the hallways, navigating quietly. Into the next room, everything changed. Ikiru was in a laboratory, tubs and jars containing human and animal parts. This was the experimental factory, with faded markings revealing ‘Level 3’. Deducing his recent whereabouts, he’d somehow ended deep into the factory. “Something’s not right. I could’ve swore this was a single leveled floor but, now am deep in underground?” saying as he held his katana.

‘...There!’ reaching his katana, he’d leap backwards twisting to face the thing behind him. Slashing behind as he now faced a wall. Looking ahead at the scraped wall where his katana had marked, he searched around the room looking for any chakra like entity. ‘I know I felt a presence behind me! That couldn’t had been my imagination. I swear there is something strange here.’ As he though he peaked into his chakra system to verify he wasn’t under genjutsu. Trending out of the room carefully, he move down the dark halls. Ikiru crafty with his movements, he summoned a clone. ‘Two is better than one.’ He though as his clone went the opposite route from him. –Snap ‘…there it is again.’

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

Halting. Ikiru waited for something to approach him. Closing his eyes, as he listened, he focused on the vibrations from the floor and the air in the hall. Feeling every single moment, his clone returned him information.Suddenly his chakra and strength started depleting quicker than he could sustain his sharingan, his instinct kicking in as his sharingan retracted back. Lost for words as he scrambled to figure out what was happening, he’d kneel down focused on anything that moved in towards him, turning to face something that was hidden. He’d launch a paper bomb kunai in the direction of it. Soon the explosion would reveal the abomination in 10ft to him. The beast was like no other. Huge, and easily towering over him, Ikiru shock with fear and wonder.

“Wahhat isss this thing!”

(Blobbing with little children voices and cries)

It moves on four feet spaced out in a squared distance from each limb. No face. No mouth. 39 to about 60 limbs attached with sea wet skin. Standing about 24ft tall and 6ft wide, the monster wiggled and bobbed as it moved. Cracking with slashing of water and bones within it. Releasing a natural gas of hallucinating pheromones from its body. Given Ikiru was immune to all types of gas poisons and toxins. He deduced a hypotheses that lead him to believe that it could and couldn’t be able to influence him under normal means but rather a type of gas that didn’t qualify as what he was immune to, pheromones! Knowing that this creature transferred its chakra somewhere hindering him previously from seeing it's location with his sharingan. All this information gave reason to understand this thing was created in the laboratory or summoned.

Now that he was already effected by the gas, Ikiru was hopeless. Recalling information from his clone that had died minutes ago, he would know that trying to formulate chakra but useless as it could absorb any-jutsu and once it was inside, the creature was an absorber of chakra too. Caught in a bind, he knew how hopeless he was now. Returning to the present, he couldn’t make out the place anymore. The world around him was spinning, twisting of the colors and sounds. He was starting to lose his mind. ‘This can’t happen to me. I need to survive so they can pay for what they did to my family. Why do I have to be weak? Please. Please. Please someone help.’ With his mind racing his arms weak he felt his mind start going blank. His life flashing right before his eyes, his heart raced on as the world paused for a moment. “…aghh, I guess…this how I die..huh.” saying as he felt himself being injecting into this blob of cold rough flesh.

Dreaming or remembering this life as now he entered the blob;

“Hey! Wake up!”

“What day is it?” Ikiru getting up as he tiredly yarned brushing his eyes. The 7yrd Ikiru would jump off the the small bed in the orphanage church. Clean and tidy as the nuns strictly made sure everyone had been cared for and squared away. –as he dreamt he became slowly devoured by the creature. Taking in his legs now.

“Sister May, I have cleaned my room’s side!” saying as he stood tight facing the up at the woman dress in black and white. Fairly beautiful and young, smiled at him before pinching his cheek.

“You need not to look out for your roommate? What have we taught you?” –as he spoke Ikiru would see himself as that age, looking at the place before hearing the words that reminded him how much he’d became from the church. “A weak spirit is one that doesn’t see all possibilities, whether be good or bad. Now hurry up and clean the other side too.”
“…one that doesn’t see all possibilities…” saying as he was now fully enveloped inside the creature. His eyes at that moment, widening with life! ‘Thank you Sister May’ as he thought he’d then make a single handseal without molding much chakra his absorption arm would activate taking in chakra that it would create a huge sphere bursting the creature from within!

( Abusōbu Ude ) - Absorption Arm

Description: A cyborg attachment to the user's body, the user has a robotic limb that allows for him to create spheres of energy that are capable of absorbing chakra up to S rank level. These spheres are capable of dealing brute force on impact as well, growing to large heights, up to 4 meters in radius. Starting at roughly rasengan size, these spheres grow proportionally to the size of the technique absorbed. Normal Ninja are able to make use of one of these devices via specialized gloves that allow them to absorb 1 Ninjutsu per turn up to S rank while Cyborgs have these attachments and are able to absorb up to Forbidden powered attacks and 1 from each arm per turn.
Note: Can be used a max of 3 times for Ninja and 6 for Cyborgs.
With the beast destroyed, Ikiru would fall to the ground weary from the encounter as he cried. Too weak to move, his chakra on bare minimum. He’d survived, given unlike most shinobi, Ikiru had quite astonishing chakra reserves giving him a small window due to being a jounin. This advantage of survival than regular human bodies that now laid around him. Drenched in gross blood on the floor, with all sorts of guts and organs he fainted. Later hours later with the dried up bloody parts, he'd wake up. Barely able to stand, he’d make his way out onto the sunny clean paradise. Looking back, he’d see indeed it was a single floor factory. Staggering as he moved to tree to tree he’d head on through the forest of broken trees. The storm had past for now, Ikiru taking a break to rest more from such an encounter.

As the sun begins to peak from the horizon, Alice and the others are making their way through an open canyon, traveled by many before them, possibly. With large rock walls leading up to the mountains on both sides of their path. Alice remaining aware, observing the environment as they walk, for any following rocks or situation. When she suddenly feels a soft brush against her hand, looking down toward her side seeing the child looking up at her.

The Child: I never told you my name, Im Maiya . Some kids say it sounds like a girls name though.

Not at all, i thinks a very unique name

She says as she smiles

Maiya: Thanks! And his name is Grandpa Zel.

As he looked back at the elder(Grandpa Zel)

Thats pretty cool.

Maiya: He gets suspicious of new people. I like new people, since we don’t get to see many.. But the last few days have been awesome! I’ve never travelled these lands before.

Yeah, its nice sometimes, theres not much people but if you look closely you can find life thriving.

Suddenly something attracts Alice’s attention, stopping in her tracks, placing her left hand on Maiya’s chest, to prevent him from moving any further.

Grandpa Zel: What is it, Alice?

Alice looking thoroughly throughout the landscape, then looking up toward the cliff above them as her eyes would turn a crimson red, with three tomoe rotating around her pupils.

Step back Maiya, go hold onto Grandpa Zel.

Maiya looking up at Alice’s face, seeing her eyes change, before registering her words. Grandpa Zel reaching out for Maiya.

Grandpa Zel: Come here Maiya!

Men who appear to be dressed with armor on their bodies, standing on both sides of the cliff. All looking down toward Alice and the others.

Is this a welcoming party, ladies?

As Alice spoke the men began to drop down, landing about 10 meters in front of Alice, and 10 meters behind. Alice mentally counting the soldiers, “20 in front” then glancing over her shoulder toward the ones behind them.. “10 behind us”

Im guessing you don’t want to talk ?!

Suddenly the soldiers surrounding them, draw their swords and all begin rushing in toward Alice, Maiya and Grandpa Zel. Alice not allowing them to harm the others, reacts with no hesitation releases chakra, forming a dome of crystal behind her and around Maiya and Grandpa Zel, protecting them within it.

Description: Guren creates a dome of crystal to surround a target. It is highly durable from both external and internal attacks, and can be used to either protect or trap a target.

Lets do this!


Alice jumping backwards, back flipping onto the top of the crystal dome, turns her head toward the enemies approaching behind her, quickly placing all of them in an illusion, where they believe many explosions simultaneously, trigger, causing the ground to collapse along with the canyons walls, falling upon them. Following Alice quickly turns her attention to the enemies in front of her, channeling chakra into her right arm as she thrusts it forward, while a sharp crystal lance forms from her arm, impaling the chest of the first soldier in the middle of the pack. As other soldier begin to jump toward her, she quickly channels chakra into the lance, causing spikes to protrude, and impaling every soldier in the area, catching the ones in the air as well, as they hang from the crystal spike gasping for air, with their blood dripping down from it.

Description: This is a technique that can be cast on multiple targets. The user creates an illusion where their target(s) experience several explosions going off near and around them. The ground around and beneath the target(s) will begin to collapse and cause panic and mental damage from the perceived reality of the explosions. The technique, however, is weak when cast upon multiple targets as it only takes one individual to release the technique for large groups of people.
Note: This technique can be cast on multiple targets but when done it only takes one person to release the technique for all parties involved with genjutsu kai. However all members need to be within short range distance.

(Shoton: Kessho Yasu) - Crystal Release : Crystal Lance

Description: This jutsu allows Guren to form crystal that completely covers her hand from her shoulder and then extending outwards, forming a huge, ten meter long sharp rod of crystal that can stab opponents. When this jutsu is in effect, Guren cannot move her fingers or wrist.

Description: A greater version of the Crystal Release. With this, Guren can further expand upon her mastery over the release, utilizing crystal in various ways to attack or defend herself.


With all the 20 soldiers in front of her dead, Alice quickly breaks the crystal lance off from her arm and turns around toward the soldiers caught within her genjutsu, she releases a spear of lightning from her mouth, in which splits up, piercing through multiple enemies throats. Alice then glances down at the dome she's on top of, slapping against it, apologizing to the others as she laughs softly.

Description: The user emits a spear of lightning from their mouth. The spear can then split apart to strike multiple enemies.

Quickly turning her attention to the rest of the soldiers above her, to see more soldiers already dropping down, although taking note of one soldier in black armor appear to be walking away from the cliffs edge. Alice looking around, both in front and behind her, “15 on each side”, "What is with y’all, and the number 30" She thought to herself. The soldiers seemed to be built differently than the other ones she killed. Before she could think, one of them were already in front of her, in motion to punch her, Alice quickly focuses chakra to her feet, before jumping and flipping over the incoming soldier, quickly avoiding the attack, landing right behind him, noticing the soldier continuing his punch, but instead its directed toward the crystal dome protecting Maiyah and Grandpa Zel. With the impact of just the soldiers fist, causing a crack on the dome. This being the first time Alice has seen someone be able to do that, questioning that they may be using chakra to enhance their strikes. Alice quickly thrusts her right leg up, kicking the back of the soldier, pinning him against the crystal dome, while the other solders rush in, Alice releases chakra creating crystal thorns from her body, piercing the soldier she has pinned, with his blood splattering onto the dome. Forming more crystal thorns from her back piercing three of the closest soldiers. She quickly bends her left knee, leaping up and placing her left foot along the back of the soldier her right foot is on already, using the dead soldiers back as a jump pad, to push off of, colliding into the soldiers charging from the middle, further piercing another four. Noticing the soldiers on the other side of the crystal dome, attacking it and causing cracks, but knowing she can’t use any jutsu that can risk the canyon walls collapsing, thinking quickly while soldiers are rushing her, she breaks off the thorns, and focuses chakra into the existing crystal on the other side of the dome, to connect and expand into a wave, colliding into the backs of the soldiers, crushing some and launching others over the dome, toward the side Alice is on. While Alice quickly raises her right hand above her shoulder gripping the handle of her blade, instantly drawing it, slashing soldiers blades away from her, utilizing her sharingan to follow and predict the enemies movements. Slicing the hand off of one of the soldiers, kneeling and spinning on her knees, catching his sword with her left as it fell, while still fending off the other soldiers swords with her right, thrusting back off her feet, slashing through the necks and stomachs of four soldiers and pushing through them and stabbing through the back of two more soldiers at the same time, one with each blade. Suddenly an enemy soldier lands a kick from the left on Alice’s torso, launching her into the canyon wall, as she bounces off of it she hears the shattering of her crystal dome, and the struggles from Grandpa zel & Maiya against the soldiers.

Alice reaches out her hand causing the shattered pieces of the crystal dome to thicken and sharpen, before drilling through every soldier in front of the dome, then bursting with speed into the mix of the soldiers left alive, slaughtering them with a fury of slashes, with blood raining from her blades as they slide through the air.. Dropping the remaining soldiers. Covered in blood, she drops the sword from her left hand, and walks toward the shattered dome, slowly .. coming closer to it she hears faint sobs.. Approaching as she deactivates her sharingan, she can see Grandpa Zel holding the body of Maiya..

Grandpa Zel turning his head toward Alice, allowing her to see that Maiya is alright, relieved that he’s okay, Alice shakes her head and smiles.. but noticing somethings off with Grandpa Zel.

Are you hurt?

Grandpa Zel: They pierced my leg, while i was trying to hold onto Maiya..

Alice watches as Maiya leans in toward Grandpa Zels hurt leg, placing his hands above the wound.. Maiya’s hands begin to glow with purplish chakra, and the wound on Grandpa Zels leg begins to heal.. Alice amazed by it.

You’re a healer? .. Thats pretty cool, kid!

Maiya: I can heal his wound but he wont be able to walk on it for a few hours.

Alice crouches, wiping the blood off of her blade with one of the dead soldiers clothing, before holstering the blade again, then wiping the blood off her face before it dries. She then walks over to Grandpa Zel helping him up and telling him to hop on her back.

I’ll carry you.

After Grandpa Zel takes a moment of looking at Alice in silence

Maiya: If you don’t take the offer, then i will grandpa!

Everyone laughs, as Grandpa Zel jumps onto Alice’s back, before continuing along their path. A few moments pass, Grandpa Zel thanks Alice for what she’s been doing and begins to open up about many things. Informing Alice that its the King of the “Dark Blossom Dynasty” after them. That Maiyas mom was the Kings sister, and after he found out that Maiya could use his “dark” abilities to heal, he wanted to use him. Maiyas mom said no, so he had her and Maiya’s father killed. Maiya’s mom knew what was going to happen before it did, cause she knew her brothers temper, she entrusted Maiya to him(Grandpa Zel). They’ve been in hiding ever since. Insisting they just had to make it to Omashu, theres someone there that could help them.

Korra would arrive from the rainy place to now the tall mountains and deep canyon area. Korra would stay cautious to watch her step as she moves around the mountain range not to fall. To ensure she does not Korra would uses her paper skills to createa walk rail as she moves around to ensure she does not fall off. As she walks around she would look she would pass by some animals , mostly birds, and use her paper skills to keep them at bay by creating distractions and weapons to fend them off. As she goes through the terrain Korra would spot a camp site on one of the mountains. The camp site would also seem to have a giant entrance to the mountain itself. Korra would take note of miners going in and out of the entrance in which Korra clearly as come across a mining group. Korra would slowly make her way to the miners being cautious of the area still. As she walks to the the camp site the miners would take notice of a cloaked/hooded Korra walking towards them and each grab their pickaxes closely. One of the miners would grab a weird colored sword and run at Korra. Korra would than take out a kunai and block the man's attempted to swipe. Korra's kunai would stop the sword but than Korra would notice that the sword would start cracking her kunai being as it is probably a stronger metal. Korra would than use her paper skills to reinforce her kunai as well as subdue the man. The other miners would all just look at her and gasp.

Korra would release a torrent of snakes from her mouth that would surround the entire area. The snakes would all surround the miners and not touch them unless Korra commands them to. Korra would have one snake bite the man she subdue earlier to demonstrate to the other miners. The man would start being poisoned by Korra's custom poison causing ill effects on the man the longer it stays in his system.

Lets get straight to the point. You will work for the Sin Village and this land will be part of it. You will provide the ores and minerals you find here to our trading post and other landmarks. You will be able to make money off it as well as get medical attention as well as trade with others.

And if we refuse?

Korra would than have the snakes slither at the men and wrap around each of them bringing them to the ground and binding them. The snakes would show off their fangs to men showing the poison and their patience of striking and biting each men.

If you refuse you will end up like your buddy who could use my antidote soon as well as my snakes lunch.

The wrapped up men would take a look at their friend seeing him in pain and the snakes around him waiting for him to keel over before feasting.

Fine we agree just don't kill us.

Korra would have the snakes unwrap the men as she hands them a scroll to sign their allegiance. As the men sign it Korra would go over to the poisoned man and inject him with an antidote to her own poison. The man would relax and than be knocked unconscious.

He is gonna be out for a lil while my medicine works through his system. As for the rest of you here is a map to the other spots you can go to as well the hospital location and the trading post.


And what would happen if we do not keep up our trading routes and routines?

I come back and turn the whole place into a snake nest. Simple. There is only a few of you here so I would suggest going into the Graveyard of Sin trading post and get more workers out here. And do not forget I have creatures and people that will be watching you at all times.

And with this saying the workers would start gathering and looking at their friend as well as the scroll. Korra would head to the far West of the landmark and set up a small paper camp to crash for the night while the workers figure out how they will go about the trading routes.

Summary: Korra would continue her conquest to claiming more land for the Sin by heading to the last landmark in the West.

After resting for a few days Korra would get rid of her camp and start heading to the West. She would first make a quick stop to check that the workers have in fact started trading as she sees the workers with more people form the other landmarks at the location helping out. Once that was confirmed Korra heads West.

Summary: Leaving Enkidu in the hands of Emiya Shirou, Merlin decides to explore the Badlands of Earth. Though he is motivated by boredom rather than pragmatism, he stumbles into a great chasm that lies within the great network of mountains that overlook the region. An impromptu expedition that begins with mindless wandering ends in foreboding revelations.




The incubus had wandered some distance from the comparatively bustling marketplace in Tsuchi Heihō. Following the path for most of the way, and other times wandering off track to make his way through the small forests that littered the mountain network that comprised much of the Badlands, Merlin was only seeking to keep himself occupied, and hopefully encounter something exciting. His staff in hand, Merlin eventually reached an outcropping that had been fashioned into a pathway that stretched around the side of the mountain, and presumably onto the others. This was likely how the inhabitants of the land traveled between villages and towns. Merlin had paid little attention to the affairs of the world whilst he remained isolated in Avalon, his eyes pointed to the world but not taking in anything of what he saw. That was, until the exploits of Emiya Shirou, the Hero of Justice.

Merlin walked at a leisurely pace along the pathway that curved around the side of the mountain, only wide enough to fit two people. There was no railing or other obstruction to prevent travelers from falling over the side and into the gorge below, and there were surely remains waiting at the bottom to show for it. Within the canyons, there were also the machines and other instruments designed for excavation, many were old and decayed while others seemed to still be functional, only antiquated in their appearance. It wouldn't come as a surprise that such a place would be rich with minerals and other natural resources. A gentle wind blew through the region, a calming whistle to accompany the incubus as he traversed the mountain. Due to its sheer size, the pathway itself was mostly straight, with sudden changes in direction owed to the natural shape of the mountain dictating its shape. Eventually, the pathway came to an end, with a large gap between the mountain Merlin had walked along and the adjacent one. Looking to the right, the pathway that would ordinarily have led around the mountain and onto the next was gone, likely eroded over time to the point where it was unusable. The gap itself was approximately ten meters long, and the drop into the canyon below was far greater. Placing his staff on his back, and forming a string of seals, Merlin channels his chakra into his right arm, unleashing a myriad of wooden spikes that extend towards the neighbouring mountain. The spikes pierce the surface of the earth, burrowing into it, allowing Merlin to detach them from his arm, letting them sit on the mountain pathway. Having created a makeshift bridge, Merlin crosses the gap while happily humming, pleased that his exploration could continue.

Description: By focusing wood chakra into one of his limbs and performing 4 hand seals (Tiger → Horse → Tiger → Snake), the user is able to sprout and extend a massive brute mass of wooden spikes and pillars. These spikes can be used to both attack the user by impaling him through the sheer speed with which they grow and extend or to defense from incoming attacks by spreading a bit wider and forming a barrier between the user and the attack. A more advanced use for this technique is to utilize it to capture the enemy and imprison him in the mayhem of spikes and pillars. The user can detach himself from the pillars at any time, while stopping it in the process.

The pathway on the other mountain was largely similar to the previous one, though it was largely undisturbed by comparison. Leaves, sticks and the occasional tumbleweed littered this one, likely due to the fact that since it couldn't be accessed easily, nobody would travel over and clear it passing through. Nevertheless, Merlin continued, his desire to explore remained yet to be sated. The pathway continued to curve gradually around the mountain until it reached a straightway, where it also forked off to the right. Reaching the fork, Merlin looked down where the pathway led, finding a large entrance into the mountain. The makeshift corridor it led down into was unlit, making it impossible to see any further than a few meters past the opening. Cupping his chin and sighing in contemplation, Merlin decided to deviate from the pathway and enter the mountain. Surely, it would be more interesting than continuing around the mountain pathway and observing the same view, as remarkable as it was.

With a click of his fingers Merlin creates a small, white flame that illuminates the area five meters around him. The sound of water droplets hitting the ground echoed through the cavern, creating a sense of emptiness. There were signs of human presence in the form of faded footprints, as well as the occasional broken mining tool. It was difficult to place exactly how long it had been since others had entered the caves, but it was neither in the distant past or terribly recent. It wasn't any stretch of the imagination that miners would also explore the caverns in search of resources. After walking on the same straight pathway for several minutes, the tunnel that led into the mountain from the entrance opened up into a large, open space. One filled with darkness. It was almost intimidating, as if staring into the very abyss itself.

Description: This technique encompasses the flame-like, wispy, energy base of Mystic Fire Release and allows the user to concentrate chakra in an area, whether it is from their body, through the ground, or even in the air. In the case of the flames being produced from the air they are unable to be created within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is within short-range as well. Flames produced from the ground possess an audible queue giving slight warning to the target should they emerge from beneath them. These flames can be manipulated to a high degree allowing the user to produce a wide variety of constructs and shapes, generally limited by their own imagination. Alternatively Primordial Creation can also be used to create simple streams, fireballs, blasts, and waves of flame. These flames can be, at the user’s volition, concentrated to effectively solidify allowing them to punch through physical obstacles and cause explosive damage. The flames of Mystic Fire by default adhere to the violet spectrum but can be manipulated to fit any color in the visible light spectrum. Alternatively they can seal their light entirely causing them to appear akin to the black flames of Amaterasu. Applications above A-Rank require a single hand seal. Sustaining this technique requires the user expend ten chakra per turn. S-Rank can be used four times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.

Looking to his left, Merlin saw a pathway that seemed to lead deeper into the mountain, similar to the one that existed on its exterior in that it was carved out of the wall itself. Taking a step onto the pathway, a torch suddenly ignited next to him, a bright blue flame shining in the darkness. More torches burst to life further down the pathway, creating a line of blue lights that spiraled deeper into the chasm. Curious as to what might lay at the bottom of the chasm, Merlin continued along the pathway with an air of caution about him. Occasionally, he could see what appeared to be cages peering out of the walls, as if they had been buried there and overtime the erosion of the earth caused them to be laid bare. They were empty, as far as he could see. Aside from these cages, and the blue torches, there was nothing out of the ordinary in the chasm. That was, until the pathway widened into a slightly larger platform, complete with a small shrine and a symbol carved into the wall next to it. 'Yomi'. The deeper Merlin went, the more of these symbols he encountered; 'Duat', 'Hades', 'Xibalba'... all names to describe a single place, the land of the dead. Eventually, Merlin reached the end of the pathway, the ground flattening out at the bottom of the great chasm. As he walked to its center, the bottom of the chasm seeming to be no more than an empty opening surrounded by stone, the sound of his steps changed. Looking down to see what he had stumbled upon, more torches illuminated the darkness of the pit, showing one final symbol inscribed into the wall beneath the pathway; 'Kur'. The Sumerian underworld. The Magus of Flowers' eyes narrowed as he examined the inscriptions, looking to his feet again. Prodding the ground with his staff, he was greeted by the sound of metal. With a twirl of his staff, Merlin releases gusts of wind that blow apart the dust that had gathered atop the floor.

Description: The user will release basic simple blasts or streams of wind from his limbs or mouth to defend or attack an enemy.

A giant, circular, metal plate revealed itself to Merlin. Intricate symbols and illustrations were carved into it, but none of it was legible or decipherable to the incubus. Nor did there appear to be any mechanism which would cause it to move. There were no observable hinges either, which led Merlin to question whether it was in fact hiding something. But something like this, hidden away here... it did not sit well with him. Whether it was coincidence that Enkidu had found his way to a place so nearby, he did not know either. A certain level of unease began to build within the incubus. If his hunch was correct, and this place was indeed more than it appeared to be, it meant that this land was far from safe. For both Shirou and Enkidu.

Somewhat unsettled by what he had found in the depths of the mountain, Merlin turns back, ascending the spiral pathway. Reaching the entrance to the cavern, the light of the sun blinded him slightly, causing the incubus to shield his eyes with his hand momentarily. He would continue on his previous path, turning right and continuing through the mountains, moving north.

After the many, consecutive hours of traveling, Merlin had returned to the Threshold, with two champions of mankind in tow. It seemed as if the area remained largely undisturbed since his last visit, which was of some comfort, given the underlying nature of what lay hidden within the caves of the great mountains. Traversing the treacherous pathways that wove around the side of the mountains, the three eventually reached the entrance to the cavern that housed the dreaded gates to hell. The incubus lead the other two inside wordlessly, his mind too focused on the battle to come to be making wisecracks. Before long, they would reach the same large opening that Merlin encountered during his last visit, though the torches were illuminated before their entry. As if they had not been put out since he left. Or, if they were lit in anticipation of his arrival. Regardless, he and the others walked down the circling pathway, moving past the small shrines dedicated to the differing variations of the Underworld.

Upon reaching the bottom of the chasm, Merlin walked towards the final symbol carved into the wall, staring at it silently. The Magus of Flowers half-turned to face his compatriots, addressing them for the first time since leaving Mianmen, "This is where we will enter the Underworld to take the fight to one of the four. All these symbols you've seen are the different names for the Underworld across different cultures. The true name, however, is Irkalla. Or Kur, among others, depending on which of the city-states you lived in during ancient times. I came here whilst Emiya Shirou and Enkidu were in these lands, visiting a doctor to mass-produce a cure for the Red Fever." Sending his gaze upward, looking to the ceiling of the chasm, he searched his mind for any idea that would lead to the activation of the gate into Phetra's domain, but nothing came to him. "I didn't stick around long enough to make any meaningful discoveries on how to operate any of the mechanisms in here, but with your help I might." he said, turning his head back down to look at Lucifer and Mirabelle. Leaning back against the wall, he would give them time to look around the chasm themselves, to see if they could find something Merlin couldn't.

Lucifer surveyed the scene silently upon their arrival, the journey had been long and more ardous than usual, walking with the humans was considerably slower than when he took to the skies with his wings. How tiresome it must be for them, to be stuck to the earth like this, unable to see things clearly from above, the child of Tiamat felt sorrow for them, however the current situation required his focus, it wasn't the time for such feelings.

With Merlin's words in mind, Lucifer would begin the process of scanning the room, first he would rely on his incredibly potent ability to sense the lifeforce of others, this sensing had been refined by Lucifer over time, becoming a speciality of his extending it's range up to two adjacent landmarks. Despite this, the gift granted to him by Tiamat couldn't quite make anything out, it felt muffled almost, hard to read.

"Something about this place, it's affecting my ability to sense life, I can still make out powerful life, like your own, but everything else seems somewhat smothered here. It makes uneasy, I've never had a feeling like this." Lucifer said aloud to his comrades, expressing his concerns at the situation.

With this said he began to look around, there were indeed many shrines littering the place, but none were particularly special to the eyes of a child of Tiamat, though something Merlin said gave Lucifer an idea.

"You said these shrines are all for the underworld correct? However only one of these names is the true name, is there a shrine to Irkalla here specifically? I don't recognise the symbols, but perhaps if we look for the truest of shrines it will help illuminate our path."

Finally arriving towards the location, Mirabelle couldn’t help but feel out of place honestly considering the notions at hand. Seems there was more things going on that she didn’t understand, namely the fact her village was right now the gate way towards the Underworld. At any moment in time, these gates could’ve possible been breached open and the undead would’ve been unleashed. It sent a shiver down her spine, but the Tsumigakure collected her thoughts as she walked with the others to what appeared to be a chasm. As they walked deeper and deeper underneath the surface. Merlin gave a brief explanation as to what the words meant on the wall. Mirabelle couldn’t read any of it, but she took out a pen and paper as she started to write them down as much as she can. She was always welcoming to new information and this seemed like a wealth of information she might be able to use for the future. As he explains more about the chasm, she watched Merlin step to the side, gesturing for them to take a look for themselves. She nodded and started to walk around much like Lucifer has, listening to his words. She looked at the shrines themselves and wondered what would happen if they interfered with them, perhaps some kind of reaction might occur.

Maybe these shrines might keys? While we know Irkalla is the true name, maybe each name is serving a purpose other than simply being an alternative name…” she said passing her hands on the runic writing on the wall. She didn’t have a clue where to start, though she whisked her hand a bit to light it a blaze, with fire so she can see the symbols even better with some light. “Just who wrote these…” she wondered out loud; not knowing what the origins of them are. More questions to ask about to Solomon another time. She then turned to Merlin, wondering what he might say. “And if we manage to open the gate way, don’t we run the risk of being whisked away immediately into the underworld?” she said pondering on the possibility.

It wasn't just symbols of varying names of Irkalla that were inscribed on the walls. Throughout were other small runes, carved into the stone that supported the titanic chasm beneath the surface of the Threshold. Each rune was small, no more than the size of a thumb and written in a language that had long been lost to humanity - if humans ever possessed it in the first place. In truth, these runes were Divine in nature and were inscribed by Enlil many, many millennia ago. Enlil, with the help of his brother Marduk, ripped the chasm open as a gateway to the Underworld to begin a siege on Ganzir against their brother Nergal. Though it was a decision highly protested by Inanna, the Queen of Heaven.

The party arrived at the large metallic plating at the bottom of the chasm. Around it were the same runes that were inscribed on the walls of the chasm. Unknown to many, the plating was a construct built by Enlil in this campaign. It was the gateway itself. Though now sealed, it was made long ago to give Enlil and Marduk an opportunity to invade the normally fortified domain of the dead.

Each step the arriving party took toward the runic carvings on the plating made the experience even more bizarre. The sound of soft screeching echoed and bounced off the surrounding chasm walls. While the party didn't know it, it was the sounds of the Twin Fates from within the Underworld, reaching out to the gates as they sensed the intruders approaching their domain. And suddenly, one of the runes illuminated on the metal plating, glowing blue.

They continued to examine the chasm; a sheer rush of cold sweat rushed down the Hayabusa Princess’ spine, hearing the echoes coming from seemingly everywhere around her. “What was tha…” her train of thought was soon caught over to the metal plating on the wall of the chasm. As she approached it, she felt as though something was calling out to them, soft screeches that echoed more loudly yet still softly. Once she saw the runic symbol start to glow, as she approached it her hand stopped before making contact with it as her mind got out of that trans. Once she came back to her senses, having aimlessly walked to the metal plating she looked at the rune. She then turned her back remembering seeing the same run at one of the shrines from before. She through her book quickly and walked back to one of the shrines. “It matches the runes on the metal plating…” she said, approaching the shrine. As she came closer to it, she placed her thumb finger onto the rune at the shrine that corresponds to the one on the doorway. Perhaps it was a code? Pressing the runes in a certain sequence might trigger something, was worth the try at least.

The voices that continued to echo from the walls around her continued to send shivers down her spine. "Why am I even here..." she thought to herself. So much shit has been transpiring in her life so far, from the loss of her family now to being on the brink of an all out raid on the underworld. "I don't belong here..." she thought to herself as her self doubts started to weigh in on her shoulders.

"The living...here?" It was a ragged, but alarmed, voice that echoed through the chasm. A chasm that, as time passed and the screeches from beneath the metal plating grew louder, progressively fell further into darkness. While the plating reacted to their presence, so too did the voices. In the distance crawling could be heard, as creatures of unknown nature jumped from wall to wall sensing the presence of the intruders. "She must be alerted!" The first voice echoed through the chasms, seemingly talking to the other creatures near it.

A second rune illuminated on the circular plating. Whether the Champions of Humanity took note of it, there were eight runes in total on the gateway, of which two were now illuminated with a glowing blue hue. As that second rune took to lighting itself, the sounds of shambling footsteps grew louder. "Hurry!" The voices shrieked, seemingly rushing now to find the intruders. To some the chasm might suddenly feel cramped, claustrophobia taking hold in peoples minds as swarms of undead monstrosities closed in on their position.

From above, where sunlight now seemed so distant, two Animated Horrors seemingly fell from the edge of the walls. "Destroy the living!" They shrieked again, one lunging at Merlin and another at Lucifer. Mirai was left in the middle between them, only able to watch as the creatures appeared out of nothingness.

Description: A shambling, animated corpse risen from the surrounding regions in the Threshold. Thousands of years of corpses built up within its very walls, now controlled by the Ruler of the Underworld through the Crown of the Undying. Animated Horrors are nothing more than walking dead incarnate. But unlike the dead that invaded Tobusekai and sacked Last Bastion, these are much stronger. They are endowed with 60 health points, able to move at Jounin base speed, and can strike for 60 damage through freeform attacks that cannot be dodged with freeform movement.

This marks the beginning of the Gateway encounter. Combat is closed in this landmark aside from Goetia, Mirabelle, and Lucifer. Please set a reply order for this first encounter.

Emiya sauntered into the region apparently containing the entrance to Irkalla, wholly unaware of the battle currently unfolding below. He looked around on the craggy, uneven surface for anything that one could assume would lead to an underground entrance, eventually coming upon the makeshift bridge constructed by the Mage of Flowers during his first excursion into these mountains. At the very least, the clearly Chakra created bridge was an indicator that he was on the right path. Eventually Emiya made it to the maw of the cavern beneath the moutain range containing the entrance to Irkalla. Believing himself to be early, given his ability to traverse great distances in mere moments, Emiya decided he would wait a short while to see if he was indeed the first to arrive. He saw no indicator to the contrary, and had no way of sensing other Chakra signatures, and thus had no idea his friends were currently already engaged in combat with the undead forces of Irkalla.

Merlin's ears picked up on the sounds of voices, as did Lucifer and Mirabelle in all likelihood. Their source was unidentifiable, however, seeming to swarm around them. Whispers of warnings and urgency. It seemed that there would be some excitement before the main event, the Magus of Flowers mused internally. Footsteps echoed from above, but the ones coming to greet them would arrive before the horde. Two ghouls would fall to the bottom of the chasm where the trio stood, their rotting bodies leaving all to bare; decayed muscle and skeletal structure, small veins periodically pulsing with white light. They lunged towards both Merlin and Lucifer without hesitation, leaving Mirabelle to her own devices in between the other two men. While Lucifer opted for a simple physical response, sidestepping the reanimated corpse and viciously clawing through its head, smashing apart sinew and bone, Merlin raised his arm carrying his staff, commanding a pillar of wood to erupt from the ground in front of his feet, empowered by additional chakra. The structure of wood was as large as a human body and was fashioned with a blunt end, meaning that once it connected with the corpse rushing towards the incubus, it would be pushed backwards into the wall of the chasm. The force and speed of the pillar's movement meant that it would crush the animated horror between itself and the wall.

Though the immediate threat was dealt with, things could only escalate from here. Mirabelle turned to the others to check on them, knowing that they were uninjured but doing so out of instinct. She turned her gaze upward, watchful for any signs of incursion.

Description: This technique can be used either as a standalone taijutsu strike, or as part of a counter by employing a variety of bodily movement. Regardless of which is chosen, the strike will be delivered with the hands, which will be cupped similar to a clawed formation, meant to mimic the claws of feral beasts. The strike is ideally delivered to areas with soft tissue targets, such as the eyes or throat the armpits etc. Tearing with their fingernails and fingertips the user will literally rip the flesh of the victim with this powerful manouver, should it strike a soft target area it can deliver considerable damage, with strikes to the eyes causing blindness, strikes to the throat causing the target to be unable to speak or use jutsu from the mouth. Strikes to either armpit or thigh will disable the arm or leg preventing movement, while these injuries can be severe they are very rarely fatal unless by some fluke.

-The user can avoid small scale attacks before countering with this in the second version, using a variety of movement similar to drunken fist.

Description: Factor of the Dragon is a supplementary ability applied to Wood Release techniques, either in the same timeframe as their creation or anytime they are on the field. Principally, it is similar to how the Wood Dragon technique is used to augment the Wood Human technique, but it can be applied to any of the user’s Wood Release jutsu. When applied to a technique, Factor of the Dragon reinforces it by growing additional wood through the infusion of an additional 10 chakra points, strengthening it by +1 Rank, or +20 damage for techniques above S-Rank. Cosmetically, the technique will darken in appearance, the bark changing in shape to resemble scales. In the case of Wood Release techniques which burrow into the ground, or occur from within the ground, techniques which alter the terrain such as Great Moving Earth Core will be unable to take effect, due to the structures of Wood Release holding them in place. This can be overcome if the terrain-altering technique in question possesses higher chakra to the Wood technique it's is faced against. Factor of the Dragon can be used up to four times per battle.

Leaping above its head were three additional Animated Horrors, screaming in unison of the Fetid Abomination's roar. Each of the new Animated Horrors would once again lunge at Lucifer, Merlin, and now Mirabelle.

Meanwhile, a third rune illuminated itself. Beneath the sounds of terror, undeath, and evil were the sounds of gear mechanisms behind the plate churning, the ancients gateway slowly coming to life.

Lucifer felt pain shoot through his body as the undead exploded in a mess of gore and viscera as he struck it, hearing the same noise from across the room he surmised both had exploded and Merlin had been struck too, though it seemed Mirabelle remained unharmed due to her distance from the eruption.

The trio barely had a moment to recover and process the damage this vile eruption had caused however, as the sounds of an encroaching beast tore through the air, a monstrous howl that caused their hair to stand on end involuntarily, and a stench so foul their stomachs churned in response.

Death's foul forces advanced upon the trio, as they formulated a way to defend themselves. Lucifer had little knowledge of the abilities of his comrades, however he had seen Merlin using what appeared to be wood based ninjutsu moments earlier, the child of Tiamat formulated the strategy to the best of his ability, drawing upon centuries of combat knowledge afforded him via his genetic memories.


"Merlin, Mirabelle, get behind me and use your ninjutsu! Merlin form a fence behind them with your wood release if you can, one with razor sharp spikes to hook them to it. Mirabelle once you see them impaled, strike from above, I'll push them back." Lucifer said quickly to his allies.

While speaking he had already began to churn the sea of life within his corporeal form, calling upon the power of Tiamat herself, with his allies safely behind him Lucifer released a powerful wave of the black mud like substance forwards aimed to smash in to the animated horrors and wrench them backwards towards the fetid abomination which would also be struck, dragging them and the sea of life up to long range away from Lucifer in a cone formation.

(Inflicting 80 damage to Animated horrors and pushing them back, inflicting 60 damage to Fetid abomination)

(Seimei no Umi) – The Sea of Life

Description: The Sea of Life is the principle and signature skill of all Children of Tiamat; like Tiamat, it is a manifestation of their will and an extension of their own bodies. In essence, the Sea of Life emulates the concept of all life being born from the sea. Unlike the All-Mother, the Children of Tiamat expend considerable chakra when accessing this technique, or its variants. The black mud can be generated from any part of the user’s body and is of extraordinarily high density, allowing it to easily engulf and overcome physical obstacles. When used the scale of this technique can vary depending on the rank used; at its highest rank it can surpass even that of Water Release: Great Waterfall. Through physical force alone it can overwhelm multiple opponents, carrying immense concussive force. The user is able to release the mud from their body in any shape that they choose, limited only by their imagination and rank. The technique carries with it the Amino-Geis, forcibly converting whoever is caught into a slave of the user. The mud can be blocked or sealed, although it must respect neutrality and damage values. S-Rank applications can be used thrice per battle, once every two turns.

(Saisei Noryoku) - Regeneration Ability

Description: Those with the cells of Hashirama are able to use the immense regeneration ability to heal injuries afflicted on them in mere moments. Anyone who has these cells in their bodies are able to naturally use this. This allows the user to heal minor injuries such as cuts,gashes, broken fingers or wrist/ankle and other small bruises.

Level 1: Done passively, this allows the user to heal small to moderate injuries. These include things like small cuts to broken digits and bruises as well as bleeding. These involve injuries that result from taijutsu attacks to minor wounds such as stabs in limbs, some broken bones as well as internal bleeding, slight organ tears. This is for none life threatening wounds and heals up to 30 damage

Level 2: Taking the place of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to make use of the healing abilities of Hashirama's cells and apply them at a greater level, employing the cells to heal large injuries, such as shattered bones, ruptured organs, even regeneration of missing limbs. This requires a large amount of chakra, and can only be done up to 3 times a battle. This can only be used once every 2 turns of Wood SM and heals up to 60 ( or A rank ) damage.

Level 3: Deemed the ultimate regeneration at the cost of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to regenerate even the most deadly of injuries, such as a completely blown away chest or fully regrowing his body after bifurcation. After using, the user can only use one other jutsu the same turn. This can only be used a total of 3 times and once every 4 turns. As long as their head is attached/they have consciousness, this jutsu can be used. After using, the user can only use two other jutsu that turn and the next.
Note: Level 1 can only be used by bios with Hashirama DNA and access to Wood Release. Level 2 requires Wood SM to be active and Level 3 can only be utilized by the Juubi Jinchuriki.

Noise filled the cavern as the sea burst forth, Merlin the magus of flowers reacted quickly to this, his sharp mind realized what Lucifer was planning almost immediately though he need not speak such a thing aloud, instead he molds chakra and causes a large fence to raise behind the fetid abomination with a lattice like design and both high and wide enough to accommodate their foes.
Large hooked spikes jutted out of the lattices, to entrap their bodies once they were forced backwards onto them by the sea of life, this would hopefully cause their bodies to erupt far enough away that their explosive nature wouldn't reach the heroes, with the sea of life acting as a buffer. With the concussive force of the sea continuing to push their bodies shattering the fence but leaving large wooden spikes embedded in the corpses.

(Inflicting 40 damage to Animated horrors and 20 to Fetid abomination, trapping all corpses on spikes.)


(Mokuton: Kyousei Mokuzai No Jutsu) Wood Release: Greater Wood Technique

Listening attentively to the commands given by Lucifer and timing it accordingly with Merlin, Mirabelle would waste not time as she nodded her head. Immediately as they became fenced in, she would form three hand seals – as she focuses her solar wind chakra into the skies directly above the undead. Immediately, a rain of green superheated energy weapons formed, raining down on the targets. The where narrow and slim enough to fit into the fencing Merlin provided, making sure not to strike any of her partner’s technique. The sheer heat from the weaponry burned into the flesh of the undead, possibly killing them all in the process of all this. Mirabelle was quick in her execution, as she realized things weren’t going to be easy at all. The Harmonic Oscillation surgery she took earlier came into play of course; as the unique enhancement continued to harmonize with her and increasing her power. The foul stench however was starting to give her a headache; as she held it. “What the heck is that smell…” she said to the others wondering what it was. Never the less she shook it off for now, simply waiting to see the end result of their assault on the foul beasts (at 70 towards the Animated Horrors and 50 DMG to Fetid)

Description: Polaris allows one the generalized ability to weaponize one’s solar wind chakra. In the process of doing this, the user has the ability to generate basic usages for the element. This can range from solidified solar wind constructs such as weaponry, blasts, tornadoes or anything within the realms of one’s imagination. Due to the nature of solar winds, these creations are superheated to the touch, capable of melting metals, ignite flammable substances, and evaporate water of two ranks below the strength of this technique. The size of which these constructs can reach is five meters for D to C Rank, ten meters for B to A Rank while S rank can reach up to fifteen meters. D – C rank requires no hand seals, while B rank requires one, A requires two and S rank requires three. In the case of A rank use, it can only be used thrice per battle with a cool down of one turn. S rank can only be used twice per battle with a cool down of two turns, but within that cool down, no Solar Wind Techniques above A rank can be used. These techniques can be formed anywhere within the battle field in the air (though must start 5 meters away from the opponent), from the user’s body or can be infused into a weapon in order to give the weapon superheated properties, as it glows a bright green coloration. In this cause however, it will completely melt the object in question after a single turn of use. As said in the CE, the user is immune the damage and effects of Solar Wind.
A surgical enhancement that causes oscillation in one’s Chakra Circulatory System. In other words, this surgery allows for one’s chakra to perform in a wave function. In the first turn of battle the user’s Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Bukijutsu are increased by 5 damage. This increases by 5 each turn thereafter, until it maximizes at 30 increased damage. In the following turn the user’s damage will decrease by 5 until it reaches a minimum of five. This pattern then repeats indefinitely. When this modification is purchased it is mandatory in the user’s boosts, meaning it will permanently assume one of the user’s boosts. Once every five turns the user is able to maximize the oscillation, achieved by sealing an enemy’s techniques. This allows the user to bypass the harmonic oscillation and achieve 30 increased damage in the turn following the sealing. This lasts for a single turn and then the oscillation is reverted back to 5 increased damage. Lasts for two arcs.

Gorey explosions echoed as the chaotic wave of the Sea of Life bashed against the frail bodies of the Animated Horrors. But their onslaught hadn't ended yet; the Fetid Abomination continued to lumber through the Sea of Life, his inherent strength greater than that of the wave. He also made short work of any Wood Release spikes that would hinder his movement, bashing them down with a single swipe of his gigantic malformed arm. He roared again, this time heralding in the next wave of reinforcements. This time, on a ledge far 13 meters above in the chasm, a single Unhallowed Sorcerer appeared cloaked in black regalia. From its left hand it would unleash a barrage of two ice bolts, carrying 80 damage at both Lucifer and Mirabelle. The undying magus snickered from above as he looked down at Merlin, believing himself to be superior to the Magus of Flowers. Simultaneously, with his other hand, the Unhallowed Sorcerer targeted one of the runes on the ancient metal plating that had been illuminated and began to chant a single incantation to target it with Runic Reversal. A technique that required considerable concentration, and it can only be interrupted by either killing the sorcerer or moving it from its position.

Meanwhile, as the Sorcerer had appeared, the cannon fodder arrived; leaping from wall to wall were two Vicious Cadavers and a single Animated Horror. They leapt above the wave of Sea of Life and the wooden spikes. Each undead body would try to jump on top of Mirabelle, ignoring Lucifer and Merlin for the time being. The Animated Horror's strikes were increased in the presence of the Fetid Abomination, making them all the more potent and difficult to ignore. A fourth rune illuminated on the metal plating, indicating the Champions of Humanity were half way to salvation.

(Shinseidenai Majutsu) – Unhallowed Sorcerer

Description: A humanoid skeletal mage cloaked in black robes bound to the Crown of the Undying. The Sorcerer stands at the height of an average human and is endowed with 50 health points. They are capable of performing multiple actions simultaneously, such as focusing a technique and attacking enemies. They are able to release blasts of ice from their body, usually their hands, for 80 damage. These count as techniques for a Champion’s counter and cannot be avoided through freeform movement. In terms of techniques the Unhallowed Sorcerer is able to use Ice Blast, an empowered version of their basic attack, and Runic Reversal. They move at the speed of an average Jounin shinobi, though typically prefer to be stationary to use their spells and attacks.
(Rūn Hanten) – Runic Reversal

Description: A technique designed by Phetra to be used to reverse the lock mechanisms on the metal plating in the depths of the Threshold. Deactivation requires a full turn of this technique being focused on the doorway. Multiple instances of this can be used by multiple Unhallowed Sorcerers.

Description: The Vicious Cadavers are companions to the Animated Horrors, though far more animalistic in nature. They move much faster, at twice the speed of a Sage ranked shinobi; they are quadrupedal, rather than bipedal, allowing for their increased movement speed and agility. Vicious Cadavers only have 40 health points, making them considerably frailer than the Animated Horrors. But their damage is significantly empowered by their speed, making their attacks, which cannot be dodged or addressed through freeform, inflict 120 damage.

Lucifer watched on as his sea of life crashed through the adversaries smashing them backwards into the wooden fencing inflicting considerable damage, this caused the smaller undead to explode in a shower of viscera that was thankfully kept clear of the heroes thanks to the large sea of life attack. However it seemed their troubles had only just begun, as another even larger pack of shambling horrors headed to the trio, most unique was what could only be described as some kind of sorcerer, bones bleached and uncovered with nary a scrap of skin on it’s frame. The sorcerer unleashed two blasts of what appeared to be ice. Reacting quickly, knowing that he could not access the sea of life again so soon, Lucifer unleashed two powerful chains from his back, carrying forbidden ranked strength the glowing chains would slam against the bolts of ice mid air, preventing them from reaching Lucifer, Merlin and Mirabelle.

Description: Known by some members of the Uzumaki clan, this technique is the manifestation of the strongest of chakras within the clan and not a simple Ninjutsu technique. The user is able to focus and materialize chains from their body that can be used for various purposes. However, what makes it a technique that goes beyond the normal Ninjutsu category is that the user can manifest these chains in reality, using them to attack, defend or restrict a given target but can also manifest these chains in his mind, in a purely spiritual field. This enables the technique to act as defense against mental attacks (Genjutsu, Yamanaka Clan techniques, etc) by using the spiritual manifestation of the chains to "attack" the mental intrusion and dispel it. It was this ability that allowed Uzumaki Kushina and Uzumaki Mito to serve as perfect vessels for the Bijuu Kurama, as they could use it to restrict the 9 Tails Demon Fox inside their bodies. When manifested as a Ninjutsu attack, it has both great range and strength. The chains can be used to attack (each chain ends in a kunai-like spear which can be used to pierce a target as a spear or the chains can be used to slam into the target or surround it and "crush" it) or defend (using the same methods) against enemies and techniques but its main purpose is to restrict and contain targets. The restriction effect is achieved partially due to two aspects: their physical strength (which restricts the target physically, preventing it from moving) and their inherent "sealing property". This property enables the chains to have a restriction effect that goes beyond the physical restriction, preventing the target from being summoned, teleporting, etc. This effect can be boosted to a full sealing effect (including the targets ability to mold chakra, etc) if the user spends additional chakra. The effect isn't a sealing technique, however, because it will only work while the user fuels it with chakra, unlike normal seals.

Whilst Lucifer and Mirabelle moved to repel the blasts of ice and attack the undead footsoldiers assailing them on the ground, Merlin's task was to prevent the Unhallowed Sorcerer from interfering with the unlocking of the gates. Returning the smirk, from one Caster to another, Merlin would relish in turning the tables on the servant of Phetra. Raising his arm, pointing an open palm towards the sorcerer, causing two pillars of wood to grow from underneath the sorcerer's feet in a spiraling fashion. Upon closing his hand into a fist, the wood would constrict Merlin's target with explosive force, crushing them and preventing them from interfering further with the gate. The incubus did so wearing his distinct flowery smile, though slightly eerie given the circumstances. His natural healing ability would keep his body from succumbing to the effects of the curse inflicted by the entrails of the undead.

Description: Those with the cells of Hashirama are able to use the immense regeneration ability to heal injuries afflicted on them in mere moments. Anyone who has these cells in their bodies are able to naturally use this. This allows the user to heal minor injuries such as cuts,gashes, broken fingers or wrist/ankle and other small bruises.

Level 1: Done passively, this allows the user to heal small to moderate injuries. These include things like small cuts to broken digits and bruises as well as bleeding. These involve injuries that result from taijutsu attacks to minor wounds such as stabs in limbs, some broken bones as well as internal bleeding, slight organ tears. This is for none life threatening wounds and heals up to 30 damage

Reinforcements?” Mirabelle thought to herself when she noticed the quicker approaching undead coming into play. As the other two attacked their targets, she was left to deal with the three that approached her. Two of the three was much quicker evidently – but she would quickly attack them much like her allies defended other stuff. As such; she brought into existence powerful black energy resembling electricity about three meters around the trio, avoiding making contact with them or their own attacks as well. The powerful bolts as created out of thin air but she controlled them to rush towards the undead monsters. Upon immediate contact with them; they would be electrocuted by the electricity; violently killing them all while the remaining bolts rushed over to the larger target. With him out the way it would make it a bit easier for the team to achieve the victory they needed to open the gates. Her technique was enhanced by the technique wave of chakra surging within her body at the time of casting.

Description: Taiji Dao is the sister technique to Wuji Dao and its polar opposite. Where the latter returns existence to nothigness, Taiji Dao brings existence from nothingness. Fundamentally, the user creates physical, vital, and/or spiritual entities through the use of their Dantian. The user is also capable of returning enties they've erased with Wuji Dao back into existence in the condition they were erased. The constructs and creations that a user can conjure are limited to their imagination. These constructs, if appropriate, are capable of using Neidan techniques that coincide with the dantian used to create them (e.g physical constructs can use techniques with the lower dantian) ( the entities can, not constructs ). Like other techniques that possess the Chakra of the Dragon, the user is capable of keeping track of anything created with this technique via their Taijin ability. The basic application of this technique sees the use of one of the three dantian to create an entity. However, advanced users are capable of combining two or all three dantian to create entities with qualities of multiple dantian. Combining all three of the dantian is the equivalent to creating a sentient familiar. This technique is learned at genin rank and requires 5 hand signs for external uses. Each rank reduces the requirements for hand signs by 2. The upper echleon (Dragon, Head, Master) may use this technique B-rank and below without hand signs.

Middle Dantian: This application sees the creation of vital/etheral entities from Wuji. Entities created with this dantian possess plasma like forms similar to lightning and fire and appear as translucent black energy. The versatility of this application is less than the lower dantian's application as it possesses no such maluable ability to be formed into multiple different states of matter. Entities created with this application is incredibly high energy giving them the capability to burn on touch or even ignite objects and beings within close proximity (ignition at A-rank and above must be within 2 meters of the entity). The user is immune to their own energy's burning effects. Like the previous application, familiars created with this dantian alone are non-sentient. Entities cannot be created within 5 meters of adversaries unless close range is already established between the user and opponent(s).

Note: Genin may use this technique up to C-rank every two turns. Chunin may use this every other turn up to B-rank. Jounin may use this technique up to S-rank (A-rank for upper dantian), however S-rank usage requires a one turn cool down before re-use. Jounin are also capable of using Multi-Dantian.
Note: Dragon/Head Ninja/Master Ninja may use this technique up to Forbidden Rank but only Masters can use Forbidden Rank multi-dantian.
Note: Forbidden usage of any kind can only be used twice per battle and renders the user incapable of using any Neidan technique for two turns after use.
