The thought of Peace

so i was commenting on another thread about Naruto characters believing in peace so i wanted to make a thread because i want to know peoples opinions on the ideology of true peace.

this is what i said:

peace is only a false hope which keeps the people of a falling nation moving foward. true peace will never be achieved because even when theres peace there will always be conflict

well of course and you made a great point but i just believe that we as the human race will never reach an actual thing as true peace. its just an absurd ideology of those who are weaker and scared to fight to get what they rightfully deserve.

the strong want peace cause they get tired of wasting effort and money on something that is so easily won. and what i stated is true, we as the human race will never achieve true peace. if im wrong can you please tell me how it would even be possible

The "strong" also believe in Peace... not only the weak. You cannot get peace, when you have people saying "human race will never reach an actual thing as true peace."

in our world peace will never happen! You need to wipe out 99% of it's population and start all over again, different way though. Human's are not capable of living peacefully because of out differences and ''special'' individuals who would use others for theyr own benefits...

Perhaps true peace is a goal that hasn't been achieved yet.You speak as if your saying human beings are savages who are unable to find peace. Government, religion, and science, I believe our current system of thinking and doing things is preventing us of finding true peace but as soon as we can successfully incorporate those three things into one system I think we will truly achieve peace. Another key to peace is trusting and believing, both these words are vital in building a strong foundation of peace. Believe in your fellow man and maybe just maybe we can come that much closer to achieving peace.

but humans are savages. we kill without thought, fight for no apparent reason and never take the blame ourselves. to bring those three things together would be virtually impossible. no man can fully trust and believe another, a saying goes " i trust everyone, its the devil inside them that i dont trust" meaning everyone is capable of being trusted but those with malicious actions and cravings will never disappear thus never leaving the world open to peace

The reason you cannot comprehend a system like this coming into being is because our world has never seen the likes of a system that could successfully incorporate those 3 things, that doesn't make it impossible. You can trust (some) people completely just not all people. With no faith there is no peace.

i mean savages in the way that we have the instinct to think about ourselves before anyone and thats because thats our survival instinct. yes we show remorse and guilt but if our life is in danger we turn to our primitive minds to escape that danger. government is always corrupt, anywhere or anything you do we will always have a corrupt government. religion is also difficult because there are so many religions and some religions even contradict one another such as catholicism and christianity, and also some religions dont believe in the thought of science as some science doesnt coincide with religion. im not saying its definately impossible but highly improbable. im only being realistic
