[Discussion] The Theoretically Strongest Possible Character in the Dragon Ball Universe

Follow me here... I think this could work.

First and foremost, we're gonna make a fusion. So let's get Goku and Vegeta, 2 Saiyans. Now, they use the dragon balls and ask for a new set of Potara earring. The reason we are using the Potara earrings instead of the Fusion Dance is because a) it's been shown to be a stronger fusion method b) it doesn't run out of time c) it is especially stronger with 2 rivals, which Goku and Vegeta happen to be. So they put on the earrings and become Vegito.

Secondly, Vegito would power up to his max potential. We've already seen him go Super Saiyan 1, and obviously because Goku and Vegeta can go Super Saiyan 4 so can Vegito. At this point we have Vegito Super Saiyan 4- but wait I believe he can go farther! See Gotenks. Gotenks is composed of Goten and Trunks. They are 2 little kids under 10 years old, and have a maximum of Super Saiyan 1 each. Yet, when fused and powered to the max, they reached Super Saiyan 3. Now if 2 lil' kids with a top of 1 can gain 2 more Super Saiyan levels when fused... what can 2 full grown Saiyans who are rivals using a stronger fusion technique and who can alone go Super Saiyan 4 gain For arguments sake, we'll say that if pushed to the furthest extent, Vegito could reach Super Saiyan 6, though it easily could be more. Now don't underestimate this power difference here. Super Saiyan levels increase in an exponential rate power wise, plenty of examples for this (Frieza, Cell, Buu, Baby).

Thirdly, is an absorption process. Long story short, Cell absorb Vegito, then Buu absorbs Cell, then Baby absorbs Buu. #FeelThePower

Fourthly, let's get some Majin power via Babadi shall we?

Fifthly, now that we have our Majin Vegito Super Saiyan 6 absorbed thrice, powerful enough to make Gogeta Super Saiyan 4 look like pathetically sad in an embarrassing fashion, we're gonna make use of their Saiyan tails! That's right, going Great Ape, which multiplies the power further by 10!

So at the end of the day I believe that it may be possible to achieve a Majin Vegito Super Saiyan 6 Cell->Buu->Babye absorbed creature.

With Anime canon, the strongest possible character would most likely be SSJ4 Vegito (Unless SSJ4 Goku and Omega Shenron don't make a better pair.)

Using only Manga Canon, the strongest possible character would be a fusion of SSJ3 Goku and Shin Gohan (Unless again, if Kid Buu didn't turn out to be a better choice).​
