[Troi]

Kooji half laughs, half cries

"Why not? Im torn between two women and my friend wants to kill me!! *he takes a sip of his whiskey and then almost spits it out* OH! And now some random guy wants to take my eyes! *he mutters to himself* I should just let Jiryuko kill me..." He stares into his glass

"You're not torn between two women. You might love me, but you are in love with Kallen. That's who you shall be with. I am more of your... Guardian, of sorts..." *She walks up to Kooji to join him in whatever he was doing* "No one will be taking your eyes anytime soon. I bet my life on it. And now... Why does Jiryuko want to kill you?.. I go away from this place for one night and I am completely lost on everyone's situation..." *She takes a seat at the bar, debating whether to order some tea or not*

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

Kooji stares at her as she sits down "B-but last night, you kissed me, and...I kissed you back. How can I be with Kallen when I have these feelings for you? *he swirls around his whisky and then takes another gulp, never bringing his gaze back up at Karina* ...and now you're saying you're just my guardian..." He seems to shrink down in his seat

 

[Hakairyoku]

Daichi enters the tavern and notices this exchange. Saying nothing, he bypasses it and sits at a table by himself. He considers getting a drink.

 

[Troi]

"Kooji, you do whatever you feel is best. I might have quite an influence on your feelings or what you do, but there is no way I can make these decisions for you... Face it, you can't have the both of us..." *She signals to Ken her usual* "We can talk about it more, if you'd like. I'm here for you." *Karina was speaking more calm by the day and less aggressive especially when dealing with Kooji*

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

Kooji furrows his brow and his hand tightens around the glass "I don't know what I want...I took all of this power to protect the one that I love, but...I never figured out how to protect myself *he squeezes the glass tighter and it shatters, gashing his hand* Hngg...*he looks up at Karina in tears, like a helpless child*

 

[Hakairyoku]

Daichi becomes slightly startled at the sound of breaking glass, and he flinches. To calm himself down, he focuses on reading the drink list.

 

[Troi]

Kooji furrows his brow and his hand tightens around the glass "I don't know what I want...I took all of this power to protect the one that I love, but...I never figured out how to protect myself *he squeezes the glass tighter and it shatters, gashing his hand* Hngg...*he looks up at Karina in tears, like a helpless child*

*Karina waves her hand above Kooji's and the glass removes itself and the wounds heal* "... If life was only about protecting yourself, we wouldn't know how certain emotions feel, you reckon? I know you wouldn't rather be a heartless monster than protecting those close to you... That's not who you are, Kooji..." *She lifts up her hands to cup his face and gently wipes his tears with her thumbs* "But I know who you are... You're someone that will go out of his way to save someone else you care about. Even when it's of no use or benefit to you..." *Karina's eternal mangekyo spins. She knew that even though Kooji wanted her eyes after the implant, that before that, he didn't even think about it*

 

[Akatsukii]

Shin walks back into the tavern and sits in a booth

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

Kooji sniffles and nods as he looks into her eyes. He puts his hand over hers "...I want you, Karina. But I dont know if I can handle hurting Kallen..."

Ken sees Daichi and awaits his order

 

[Troi]

"Just tell her the best way you know how..."

 

[Akatsukii]

Shin calls Ken over for his order

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

Kooji sighs and lets go of her hand "...like a band aid. It must have been tough to see me with Kallen..."

Ken walks over "Hi there! What can I getcha?"

 

[Troi]

"You couldn't imagine... But I endured until now... Not even someone who acts as tough as myself can hold back things like that for that long..." *She turns back to the bar to face the shelves and just stares at them*

 

[Akatsukii]

"I would like a cup of tea please."

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

"Yeah, you're right I couldn't imagine *he uses his foot to spin her stool so she was facing him and he plants a big kiss on her lips. After a second he pulls away* But I can try to make it right" He smiles weakly at her

Ken: Right away sir

 

[Troi]

*Karina smiles back but she couldn't help but to think of Kallen. Even though she didn't really know her that well, she felt bad. But the situation couldn't be helped* "Yeah... I guess you can..."

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

Kooji backs away a bit "Uh uh...you cant be unsure...you're supposed to be the sure one...right?"

 

[Hakairyoku]

Ken sees Daichi and awaits his order

Daichi notices that Ken is currently taking another man's order, so he waits patiently.

 

[Troi]

*Karina giggles a bit* "I'm sure you can make this right, Kooji... I just don't know when..." *She looks back to the shelves*

 

[Uchiha Kooji]

Kooji also looks at the shelves, thinking about the path ahead
