The Tale of Shamaka The Fire Wielder
Chapter 1: The Chunin Exams
The revolution was over and now the Hidden Rain Village was one again. The tales of Pain had disappeared and the Fourth Great Shinobi War had come to a close. As celebration towards the mark of a new era, the Chunin exams were to be held in the Rain village. People from all over came even those from the Leaf and Sand. My time of being a Genin was about to end!
“Shamakaaaaa!” Cried Tsuyko. “Where did you put my ribbons?”
“I didn’t touch em’.” I looked at my sister who was angry with me claiming I would steal her things.
“you know mother wouldn’t want to find out your stealing again….” Her orange hair spun in her pigtails as she walked out the door. I had enough trouble training under Rai. He was my sensei of team 2. We were made of Rai who used ice style and fire style, Umi our water style using who was a descendent from the Yanntama Clan who had agility, and Yun-alim the only female on our team who could wield lightning style and water style.
I was glad to have Rai as my sensei because he was the only person other than my family who wasn’t native to the Rain Village. He said his father was a great warrior who had become cursed with hatred. He told me that his abilities were a curse and not a gift. His fire style was amazingly strong and he taught me how to do his signature “fire ball jutsu.”
Rai sensi now awaited me on the Tenki Bridge. His hair was blue and he wore his head protector on his stomach. “You will be facing tough oppoents out there for the Chunin spot. I won’t hold back in this sparring session.”
“Without so much as a hello to greet me? That was rude of you Rai.”
“Listen. I want to prepare you as much as possible for this exam. The Leaf Village is known for having strong fighters and I am determined to make you even stronger. Now come.”
I started. “Fire Style: Burning Rain!” I a fire ball into the air that showered down flames.
“Ice style: ice wall of protection!" An ice mirror had appeared right under him like an umbrella.
I took out a scroll and bit my finger. “Summoning Jutsu: Three Monkey Barrage!” Chief Monkey King and his two guides were summoned. They had armor on along with their swords. “Go!” I shouted.
The monkies ran to Rai but he was calm and collected. “So that’s your game. Summoning Jutsu: White Ice Warrior!” Out of thin air appeared a misty figure.
The figure created fog that made it impossible to see your own hand. “Fine then!” I shouted. “Fire Style: Flaming breath!” I burned up the fog and was able to see my hands again. “Ackk!” I coughed. My chakra was already low?! The monkies leaked out a cry and they disappeared.
“Crystal Clones!” Five Rai’s appeared in a circle around me. “Its over.” Whispered the real Rai. All five clones in sync yelled “Fire style: Fire ball jutsu!” This wasn’t Rai sensei. He never had the intent to try to kill me…
To be Continued.
Tell me what you think I know it was really jumpy
I haven't finshed the chapter so this is just a taste to see if I should keep going!
