(Side note: This is the story of two Uchiha created by me and a friend, tried something new while Incorp gets a another mind blowing chapter.)
Chapter One: Lingering Shadows
This is the story of two skilled Uchiha that had been forged into the new generation of history. This will be the two stories of these beings, as they create a path for themselves....
Another chapter added to a book to which should've closed long ago, the inkwell stained an empty case with a ragged and worn quill loyal to it; yet, they still manage to add words that shouldn't be. Stories for slumber or legends for grandiose pleasure, a hushed uproar to the wind in silence to perked ears in curiosity and wonder. Recognition that an old slumber stirred uneasy foreshadowed an epidemic the generations haven't witnessed for years. For time was a key menace for all virtues, leaving desolation to which sprung tales of glory, though they all had a phenomenon that concluded a resurrection in the climax. The true aspect that enlightened and gave value came with the falling action, the pieces that gave meaning to the last chapters of an epic. Thus it can be seen, the limitations and expectations of a grandiose journey being given countless additions in spite of an audience's belief of a proper end. In reason, a vendetta came to manifest with a single minded objective to see to it of a proper closing for this foretold journal's end. To a chapter meant to close all other chapters and relinquish the thriving will present in an old conspiracy set to stone. This chapter would be that of a page, one without words or indentations, as there could be none as this chapter was to end on a torn page...
Coming towards the Land, Just as he would have Suspect there was an endless pour in the Land of this said Place. He didn’t mind the rain, it wasn’t so hot at least. He had been traveling to battle the remnant Kyte since early this morning. Having made coming here a reason for leaving his Uchiha's tence Vigorous training. It took him so long because he didn’t come straight too Uchiha Kyte, he made a stop or two. He had to travel by water at first, then come back and hit land again. Traveling by water was simple, given one of his abilities of his Aura chakra like skills, he had simply walked onto the waters surface and trailed his feet to the area ahead...
Once he had entered the Country like structure, he again traveled by water to reach the rest of the way to the Uchiha. The streets of the city were never flooded, though there was a steady flow of streaming water of course. So in the midst of the village, he had reformed from a puddle in the center of the street. An ability gifted to him with his Elemental status, and taught to him by Sasuke in his younger days. When his form went from Liquid to Solid, his full attire was able to be seen. He had wore a skin tight shirt, that displayed his muscles and over all Physique. The shirt actually covered his neck, and half of his face. From his nose, all the way down. Over the shirt, he wore a closed all black coat. Which was probably commonly worn by the original members of the Uchiha clan back in the elder days...
On the back of the coat, was a large Insignia of a Uchiha crest that covered it entirely. He wore a straw hat, and since the collar of his coat had came all the way up stopping just above his nose. All you could see between his Hat and his coat were his Dead Grey eyes that rapidly changed colour. His upper attire made him look to be a shady character, but that wasn’t the case. Around his forehead, he wore his Forehead Protector with Kumogakure’s Insignia of course. Some would be able to recognize him just by looking to the back of his Marking. Many knew of the great Uchiha clan. And many knew his father was the leader, which is why they were feared by all and claimed by all as Monsters...
Althrough exile and ruins a strong grip held it strong, albeit said grip tarnished with age and let go. Giving way to a fall in despair, a scatter of persona pledged of keep to its memory. Such as all things given a title, they rose and ended in multiple manners, such for this man he saw his fall and accepted it. Nonetheless, restless, he sought his time to achieve another footing upon the world, one to be given for his return and that came as the true Heir of the Sharingan. Now reaching the estate and into the sealed void, he did not speak. Eye's just purged like siver chiped daggers, hungry for battle.
Kyte Uchiha descended from the back porch of the Uchiha estate, into the training fields. He had spent quite an amount of time having it built, but time, of course, was something he had plenty of. He took his wedding ring off, tossing it to Shugo at the sidelines. "I don't want this getting lost anywhere. It'll be troublesome to search for it if I lose it out here..." Of course, from this statement, someone could infer that though Kyte had nearly unlimited time on this planet, he wasn't all that willing to spend it. He finally entered the boundaries of the training field, which his opponent Surupo was already waiting in. "One sec." He formed a hand seal, and the air suddenly shimmered for a square mile around them in a square. The field was now impenetrable from either the outside or inside. Until the opponent was defeated, or until they surrendered, nobody was leaving, and nobody was interfering, unless of course the opponent were to try and break the rules.
"So, Surupo...shall we begin?" Kyte appeared to have a bored expression. Of course, this was already cliche in the Uchiha family, but at least Kyte wasn't always all frown, no smile. He formed Yokoshima at his waist in case Surupo intended to pull out a weapon of some sorts, but would not use it himself unless Surupo was using one. He waited to see if Surupo was an offensive player, or a defensive one.
Kyte Uchiha watched Surupo remain quiet, and, try as Kyte might, he could not prevent his mood from shifting. For, as Kyte watched Surupo in such a calm, serious, and silent demeanor, it was as if something forbade Kyte from remaining similar to him. A sound escaped Kyte's throat across the battlefield, and if Surupo listened closely, he would find it to be a chuckle. Kyte couldn't control it much longer, and just as lightning boomed off in the distance from the rainclouds, a crack louder than a shotgun blast in comparison at the training area, Kyte's composure broke, a grin cracking through the surface of his demeanor and breaking apart to laugh. His eyes holding a look of amusement, he stopped himself, the look fading to a smirk. Surupo was not familiar with those of the Sinaura bloodline or their family, so he wouldn't know that this smirk rested in all of them. Kyte, having been trained by one ever since he was a small boy, had inherited it, along with his blood. But that was a story for another time.
"My apologies, Surupo. I mean no offense. But having a silent contest along with a staring one is...well, it's amusing, to say the least. I can't stand to do so. It loses entertainment value for me rather quickly." Kyte slowly walked forward towards Surupo, his hands balled up into fists, ready for physical contact. "I speak honestly. It's an honor to meet the offspring of my friend Sasuke. Shall we start this bout?" As he got within melee distance of Surupo, provided he didn't attempt to attack him before he got into range or even as he got into range, he offered a hand in sportsmanship. Kyte was ready for anything Surupo tried to pull, again, if he hadn't tried to attack by this time. And if he were to take advantage of Kyte's gesture of proper sportsmanship, it would be a dangerous thing to do, for Surupo was unaware that Kyte also had a few Kekkei Genkai. For example, the Shikotsumyaku of the Kaguya.
While Kyte's handshake was indeed a offer of good will, he would be lying if he claimed he didn't have ulterior motives. He was analyzing Surupo. He didn't need the Sharingan eye's to be observant. Muscle mass. Flexibility. Habits. Everything could be told just from slight movements to Kyte's eyes, due to the experience resulting from being around for over five millennia. One of the most important things Kyte had already noted thus far was that Surupo, from his behavior so far, did not like to attack first.
In fact, he was sure that, even as he was observing Surupo right now, Surupo was just as intently studying him. This brought three conclusions to Kyte's mind. The first was that Surupo was intelligent. Attacking first and taking the initiative did not make anyone less intelligent. However, before gathering information about one's person, it often proved treacherous. The second conclusion was that Surupo was a defensive player. This was evident from the first conclusion; by not attacking first, Surupo had given the initiative to Kyte, should he choose to take it, and would help offer some advantage he could salvage and put Kyte on the defensive. By being on the defensive side of choosing, it allowed you to see an action first, and was generally the smarter move, provided you could deal with the attack. This led to Kyte's third conclusion, which was, again, based off of the former two. Surupo was an opportunist. Being an Uchiha, it was fair to say that he was not purely defensive, and that his motto was the best defense is a good offense. Meaning he would try to take advantage of Kyte's mistakes.
I was wrong before. There are four conclusions. Keeping himself open to any offensive movements Surupo might make, he finished his thought. Provided my three previous conclusions are correct, Surupo and I are exactly the same kind of players. There remained only one analysis for Kyte to make. It depended on what Surupo decided to do. Completing this analysis, provided all previous conclusions were correct, this would provide Kyte's strategy that he would use and adapt throughout the battle to take Surupo down. Friendly fights were a lot more difficult to pull off. Purposefully pulling your punches to not cause serious harm, and leaving your sword hanging back to not take the opponent's limb, or head.
This meant Kyte was going to have to take his strategical talents to their full capacity in order to win this fight. It is said between professionals there is a moment where the swords crossing freeze in time. As if your sensory abilities are pumped to the maximum. Kyte was in a constant state of this throughout battles, and as the slow eternity of making his way towards Surupo, and offering a handshake; provided Surupo did not move before then, wore on, Kyte only anticipated the lightning quick movements between worthy adversaries and the sharpening of the minds between them both only more and more.
