ARC 1: THE BEGINING
Chapter 1: THE ORPHAN
It was towards the begining of the 3rd Great Shinobi War. Two parents, members in the Konahgakures ninja militia had recently given birth to a boy. In the dismal time of war the two parents didn't have time to pick a name for there newly born.
During a Iwagakure Invasion, the reason for the invasion was the boy's father. A jounin with infomation on the war that could benefit Iwagakure. A few, very skilled rock ninjas, snuck through the perimeter of konahgakure. They broke into the familie's home. The two parents acted quickly to the assault. The mother quickly threw two kunai precisely. Killing one of the targets and the other a despersing clone. The father grabed his son from his cradle on instinct. The father now turned to face the ninjas standing before him and his wife.
"Go, I will hold them off get him away from here!" the wife yelled.
"But Aya..." the husband began.
"GO!!!" the wife exclaimed.
The father took one last look at his wife who was so focused on distracting the enemy she didn't even give him a glance. The father knew what was at risk so he started running from the Iwagakure ninjas. He had to protect his son and information from the invading ninjas, his son came first though. He had ran from the ninjas untell he reached the land of rice fields. The father had gained some distance on the rock ninjas, but was still in pursuit none the less the father knew. He had anough time to stop near a small farm in midst of night. He didnt have that much time though. So he wrote out some words on a piece of paper pinned it to his son and put him on the ground softly and knocked on the farm house door. The father continued his run to lead the rock ninjas away from the location.
An elderly man answered the door and looked around for the would be guest and steped out to get a better look bumping his foot against the small child that lay at his feet. He picked up the baby with bright green eyes peering up at him. He saw the note pinned to the baby's chest it read "He doesnt have a name.". The old man utterly confused shook his head in distress, but he turned on his feet and walked back into the house closing the door behind him. The old man stood there in his foyer looking at the baby with the green eyes and red hair. The baby yawned and the old man managed to smile.
"Tired little guy"
The baby looking up at him now and began to cry.
"Hey now!" in a harsh whisper "You will wake the old lady!".
It was too late though the old lady entered the room.
"Snoki!?" the old man said in a startled voice.
The old lady yawned "Horinzen, whats going on is that a baby!?" Snoki exclaimed thinking she was dreaming. Snoki walked over to Horinzen who was looking at the baby tilting him down so Snoki could get a better look at him.
"Where did he come from?" Snoki asked in a confused tone as she took the baby from Horizen. The baby calmed in Snoki's arms.
"I don't know, he was left on or doorstep. with this note."Horinzen said with sympathy
"So the orphan doesn't have name?" Snoki asked retorically
"Well how about Ondorimaru?" Snoki said as if ready to take care of the child, and had accepted the fact that the kid needed a home.
"After a rooster!?" Horinzen looked at his wife with a cocked eye.
"Well I mean look at him big green eyes red hair kinda like a rooster crown." Snoki retorted.
"Hmmm, Ondorimaru." Horinzen tried it on his tongue.
"What about dorimaru intead?" Horinzen said after a moments thought.
"Hmm, I like it Dorimaru fits him good." Snoki said in aagreement "Lets get him to bed though, hes prolly been through alot."
"Good idea, I think we all have been through alot tonight..."agreed Horinzen.
Snoki and Horinzen walk back to the room and nestled into bed with Dorimaru in between them comforting him with their newly found love.

Chapter 2: THE ROOSTER BOY
*THREE YEARS LATER*
The young Dorimaru was now old anough to walk and say some words. He was chasing the chickens around the yard, trying to catch the only rooster in the flock sending the hens scattering. Dorimaru at the rough age of three, he wasn't nearly fast anough. Dorimaru was relentless keeping the rooster on the run though.
"would you stop that doimaru!" Horinzen said annoyed as he tilled the garden.
The boy stopped in his tracks and just looked at Horinzen. Dorimaru knew he wasnt supposed to chase the chickens, but the young boy couldn't help himself.
"Let him play he has nothing else to do..." Snoki scolded "He's not hurting those chickens!"
"yea, well I just don't want him to get hurt." Horinzen said with good intention, even though he really did get agitated with dorimaru when he stressed out the chickens.
Dorimaru wasn't paying the two old couple any attention at this point. He had already found a new way to entertain himself. Dorimaru, instead of chasing the rooster, he started to imitate it. He climbed the fence post the rooster was now sitting on. He sat about two body lengths from the him. Squating as the rooster did, looking at the rooster waiting on it to make the next move. The rooster looked at Dorimaru out the corner of it's eye waiting on Dorimaru, to yet again hastle him, causing him to run yet again.
Both Snoki and Horinzen watched the boy. They were scared for his safety, but he climbed the fence with ease. He even balanced himself there watcing the rooster as if he was rooster himself.
"Hmm, Im thinking just maybe his parents were ninjas." Snoki said wide eyed at the 3 year old boy."Than again what do I know about ninjas?"
"I think you might be right Snoki?" Horinzen said knowing a thing or two about jutsus and the such.
Dorimaru took his eyes off the rooster for a moment, something had caught his attention. He looked out towards the treeline edging the farm some 20 yards off. He saw a man in a green vest, limping towards him and his adopted parents.
"Snoki, Horinzen!" said Dorimaru in his little kid talk.
Snoki, and Horinzen looked over at the boy pointing his finger. They looked over at what the boy was pointing at. They saw a ninja wobble ever closer to the house clutching his ribs, with blood covering everything from his clothing to his hands. He began to callapse.
Dorimaru jumped down from the fence, and ran over to the man.

Chapter 3: HEALING THE WOUNDED
*TWO WEEKS LATER*
Horinzen stood there over the wounded ninja. Dorimaru stood there behind Horinzen, constantly watching this "Ninja". Horinzen was holding his hands to the man's stomach. A green aura was coming off his hands. Dorimaru was told it is a "jutsu". Dorimaru didn't understand what was going on really. He just sat and watched Horinzen help the ninja get better.
"How?" Dorimaru asked is a confused tone. Not able to contain his curiousity of this "jutsu" any long.
"Chakra, it is in everything that is living"Horinzen said after a moments thought. Trying to explain it the best he could to the child."Some living things have more and stronger chakra than others." Horinzen said with a tired sigh.
"I have chakwa?" Dorimaru asked.
"Yes, you may have more than me."
"More dan you?"
"Yup who knows you may end like this ninja one day." Dorimaru's face frowned at the thought. Horinzen just laughed him.
"One day you might be a ninja yourself. If you have what it takes." Horinzen said looking at the boy. Wondering who the boy would become and Horinzen could only help guide him down the right path."I didn't have what it takes maybe you will."
Horinzen went back to his work, focusing on his healing jutsu. Dorimaru just stared mezmerized by the green aura. He had hardly absorbed anything Horinzen said about becoming a ninja. He was still to young to entertain such thoughts.

Chapter 4: THE NINJA WAY
*FOUR MONTHS LATER*
The ninja healed slowly over the next four months. He awoke only few times to mumble incoherent confusion, and than fall back into a deep sleep. Horinzen had done everything he could to help the man. Snoki told him the ninja just needed time, and a watchful eye. Dorimaru helped when he could, but he always felt like he was in the way.
Dorimaru's vocabulary had grown along with his body, Snoki had told him he was going through a growth spurt. Dorimaru didn't notice it, but he was getting bigger. Horinzen had noticed he had gotten faster and stronger too. He noticed the boy on ocasions, before yelling at him, almost catching that rooster. The boy was quick anough now. It was just a matter of outwitting the rooster.
"Wake up Dorimaru!" Snoki yelled from the kitchen.
"That Dorimaru is about big anough to start helping me on the farm." Horinzen said.
"Yea, he needs more to do with his time." Snoki agreed with her husband. "he seems to always be so bored."
Dorimaru entered the room as he pulled on his shirt over his head with a yawn. He looked over at the ninja who was still asleep. He wondered when the man would finally awake?
"Here Dorimaru eat your breakfast." Snoki said.
"Thank you Snoki." Dorimaru said with another yawn.
Dorimaru climbed into his chair and started to eat. The rooster crowed outside and dorimaru became wide awake. He was ready to finally catch it. He began to eat faster.
Horinzen walked outside already finishing breakfast, and Snoki was doing some chores in the kitchen. Dorimaru was just about finished with his breakfast.
"Argh.." the ninja said as he awoke.
"Are you okay?" Snoki asked as she walked over to the ninja.
"Huh?.."
"How are you feeling?"
"Not so good.." the ninja said after some time."How long have I been out?
"For some time." Snoki said "It has been four months since you fell from a battle wound and ended up on our farm." "FOUR MONTHS!?" the ninja winced after the sudden surprise. "I have to get back to the Konahgakure, we are at war with Iwagakure." The ninja eased up into a sitting position.
"You can't you are not fully healed yet." Snoki said with her hand on his shoulder. "You got to take it easy."
"I must not give up its not the ninja way." the ninja said as he got up pain shot straight to his abdomen. He almost fell back down from the pain.
"Please, you will not make it to Konah in this condition!"Snoki tried to reason.
Dorimaru watched the ninja wobble to the door. He wasn't sure what he meant by the "the ninja way". The man slowly went down to one knee.
"I don't understand how could I be gone for this long."
