In this thread I would like to open up a discussion on the possible outcomes for the Tailed Beasts after the war.
First, let me explain what sparked this thread. I recently have been reading/watching the older Naruto episodes/chapters and came across the portion where Naruto meets all the Tailed Beasts after completely merging his and Kurama's chakra without Kurama trying to take over. In the episode/chapter we are told by the SO6P himself that each of the Tailed Beats will receive a new name and a new form. It got me thinking, what could those new forms and new names be? Well, here is what I have been thinking and it's not something I suspect others haven't thought as well.
A NEW NAME:
The "new" name that I see the Tailed Beasts receiving is actual their own original names. Now, I know that might sound a little redundant, but hear me out. For as long as humans have been around in the Naruto Universe, the Tailed Beasts have been known simply by the number of tails that they possessed and the only ones that really knew their name were their Jin partners (if they actually learned them). We also learned that one of the Tailed Beats, Son, mentioned that what irritated him about humans were that they saw them as simply tools and that they never bothered to learn their actual names (course, that would bother me as well). Anyways, the new name that will come from what the SO6P spoke about may actually be their real names being told and learned by the Ninja world through Naruto himself. Naruto will teach those that the Tailed Beasts are not just tools and monsters, but that they actually have real names and that, if treated correctly, they can be friendly.
In essence, their real name could be their "new" name since only their Jin partners usually know their birth name.
Now, onto the last part second part - their new form.
A NEW FORM:
This part of the SO6P's speech was a little harder for me to wrap my head around, but I did come up with something that I thought was a little out-of-the-box, but could actually be something interesting to see happen nonetheless. A possible new form could be a smaller version of what they are now. Instead of being almost 100ft tall (rough estimation), they could potentially be scaled down by half their size (something around what Gamabunta would be when he was younger). I don't want to say too much about this one because then I would be rambling on too much, but that's my little theory/hypothesis on a possible new form (although there could be others and probably a better one then this lol).
Anyways, that's just something I was thinking about and came up with after watching/reading this portion of Naruto.
