Am I the only one who loves how Kishi portrays Naruto and Sasuke's situations in this latest chapter.

He shows how much their lives have really changed with Naruto dying with friends around him and Sasuke dying alone, (granted not many people know that Sasuke is in trouble).

It shows how much their lives have changed since part 1, Naruto was initially an outcast that no one cared about and Sasuke was the genius of his generation and everyone was always observing his growth with anticipation.

Their lives have completely changed how people view them, Naruto has become beloved by many and is the village hero with many friends who are trying to save him.

While Sasuke is dying alone and the only people that are aware that he is in trouble are four criminals and the Edo Hokage (who can't really help anyway.)

The manga Naruto may be full of flaws, but you have to give Kishi credit when it comes to symbolism in the story.

I don't see that as a shock. I mean a lot of people don't know that Sasuke is wounded,if they knew even if they hated him there would still be someone to help him. No one would know Naruto is dying if it wasn't for Gaara. On the other hand he never showed any emotion on any of Shinobi world that is on the battlefield. But remember that Shikamaru said at the end of part 1 that even he didn't like Sasuke very much he would still help him because he is a fellow shinobi. I think the same would be now.

That would make sense if they were aware of Sasuke's situation and no one went to his aid.
But thats not the case,no one knows whats happening in the other side of the battle field, apart from Karin and team Taka who just realised because Karin is a sensor and they are on their way to his aid.
Had Gaara not been there no one would knew about Naruto's situation aswell.

It's that subtle symbolism that makes me keep loving the manga. While almost everybody complains about each and every chapter, I'm always looking for these things Kishi hints at with each chapter, makes it feel like the story really is coming around full circle

Dumbass it symbolises how Madara with his power is killing Japan.

Every one would be sad about Sasuke death when they learn it even Madara. But Sadly Sasuke so tiers will be spared, except Karin because she is Sasuke future wife.

Despite his crimes, I do think it would be sad if nobody actually ended up helping Sasuke, and he died alone while Naruto recovers around his friends. Would bring us back to Kakashi saying right from the start along the lines of "Those that follow path of hatred, it never ends well. And if you do get your revenge, what will you have? Nothing."

Would be development for Karen who decides to save Naruto over Sasuke, as he actually needs chakra not stitching. Who better then Karen?

Their roles kind of switched because near the beginning, everyone's eye was on the Uchiha kid and frowned on Naruto, now it's just the opposite.

This. Now Naruto is the star, everyone loves him. He'll never be the underdog again.

Kishi is playing the old role reversal card, that's one of the things that makes this manga enjoyable, despite the flaws in Naruto, Kishi knows how to use symbolism and clever plot mechanics.
