Amaterasu cannot be absorbed. The flames are said to burn through anything. It was able to eat sasuke's fire jutsu,why wouldnt it eat the preta path's absorption seal,which is also made of fire.

if its constituted from chakra preta path can asborb it, that means susanoo/amaterasu are fair game, theyre not some magical techniques that use the power of love, they require chakra to manifest, and with that regard they can be absorbed

and yata mirror/totsuka blade are etheral weapons, not chakra, they cant be absorbed, saw someone say susanoo was made of spirit energy or something in a post, probably stemming from the fact that susanoo can hold etheral weapons, that doesnt make it etheral..:sy:

Well nagato is a sensor, he can sense when Itachi is about to use it, so it gives him enough time to use Preta path.

If he hadn't any sensor skills then you would be right.

Susanoo is materialised chakra. It is also absorbent.
