Now that all of the shinobi villages have aligned themselves and created bonds on the battlefield, the Narutoverse will likely be changed forever.

Naruto's primary mission in life is "World Peace." He isn't simply on the battlefield representing Konoha, but representing the shinobi world as a whole, leading them against the greatest enemy in existence, the Juubi.

Now assuming that the shinobi prevail in their fight against the Juubi under the leadership of Naruto, he wont be known as the "Hero of the Leaf" but the "Hero of the Shinobi World," or something in those regards.

In a united world, a single leader will be needed in order to prevent the villages from slipping back to their selfish ways disconnected from each other. Who better than the Hero of the Shinobi World who pursues World Peace as a life mission and has changed the world so much singlehandedly?

So my conclusion is that, Naruto will be selected for this role as the "Supreme Kage", presiding over the 5 kages, who will represent and protect not just a single village with selfish motives and interests, but the entire Shinobi World.

What do you guys think, is this plausible?

I've been saying something very similar to this for many months. I don't think Naruto is going to become the Hokage in the end because he has a bigger mission: To bring world peace.

Remember when Naruto mastered the kyuubi's power, he promised Kurama that he would "make it up to you"? Remember also when Naruto claimed to want to save the other bijuu from the gedo mazo? I suspect strongly that this is foreshadowing: Naruto is going to try and save, and possibly release, the bijuu so they aren't slaves or used as weapons of war anymore. Where Hashirama gave the bijuu away, as weapons of mutually-assured destruction to help ensure peace (and that obviously didn't work), Naruto is going to sets the beasts free and make sure they can't be used as weapons ever again.

Even just this last chapter where Hashirama says he wants to make Madara the first Hokage, so that Madara can treat the entire village as his siblings and protect all of them. I think this foreshadows Sasuke's ultimate redemption. If Sasuke can return as a hero, Sasuke can be made the hokage as a way to replace the family he lost, and to turn him into a protector of the people instead of as a vengeful criminal. Hashirama let the people decide, and allowed them to pick himself as hokage instead of Madara, which ruined his plans. Naruto is going to do things better and refuse to become Hokage so that Sasuke can become Hokage and the Uchiha clan can be redeemed.

They are too far from each other (the 5 nations). There will be peace, but Naruto can't control every ones movements and thinking. If this happen, then it is just like Infinite Tsukoyomi. That will be a bad ending.

KAMIKAGE!

But yeah, I was thinking the same thing. That hokage title will not bring peace, or even help Naruto get close to it. But the kamikage thing needs to be his own idea, not something that is appointed to him. If he really is trying to achieve peace, I don't things to be handed down to him. He's gotta work for it, get his hands dirty. :D

Oh and the rain village (a village Naruto promised Nagato he would bring peace to) is right in the middle of the warring nations (if I am correct). Perfect base for him, and Hinata makes a nice queen XD

I veryt much doubt it, honestly I don't think Naruto would even accept that position either.
