It would take some getting use to, but I rather enjoy my 3 months vacation during the winter. Summer isn't a bad season. I just think winter is 10X better.
The pro here is that school wise the places where it snows heavily like every year won't be a factor. You won't miss school for 1 to 2 weeks because you'll be on that 3 month vacation. Not only that but you won't have to make up those snow days.
