[Discussion] The Strongest Slayer Magic So Far

What do you think is the strongest slayer magic so far? I personally think it's Devil Slayer despite the limited amount of info on it as of yet.

To determine this fairly, we'd have to rank each Slayer Magic on magic alone and not by the user who performs it, as it can vary tremendously.

Dragon Slayer
Standard Slayer Eating Ability
Dragon Force (Can be Forced by Willpower)
Can NOT Eat God Slayer Elemental Magic

God Slayer
Standard Slayer Eating Ability
Black Coloring added to Techniques
No known upgraded form

Devil Slayer
Standard Slayer Eating Ability
Arguably uses Curses as opposed to Eternano (Highly unlikely)
No known upgraded form


Dragon Slayer Fire Magic has been shown to burn through standard Ice Magic, but has no effect on Devil Slayer Ice Magic. The fact it offers no effect, not simply being weak to, no effect, implies Devil Slayer Magic is stronger than Dragon Slayer

Devil Slayer can also, implied at least, defeat Devils, better known as Demons, while Dragon Slayers don't seem to be able to unless entering Dragon Force.

Dragon Slayer Magic can NOT eat God Slayer Magic, but the reverse can. It does seem that standard God Slayer is stronger though than base Dragon Slayer, unknown how the match-up would be against Dragon Force Dragon Slayer Magic


Based on this, I would say that Devil Slayer is strongest, followed by God Slayer, followed by Dragon Slayer (Base).

This is under the assumption that Devil Slayers use Curses as opposed to Magic.

However, if a Dragon Slayer were to be in Dragon Force, I would rank it as Dragon Slayer (Dragon Force), Devil Slayer, God Slayer.

So because of this form ability that Dragon Slayers are unique in having amongst Slayer Magic, I would say the final results would be:
1) Devil Slayer
2) Dragon Slayer
3) God Slayer

I agree. Based on what we've seen so far I don't really think anyone can really say different. But I do value opinions on this topic.

devil slayer is pretty strong,but dragon slayer is the strongest
acno was a dragon slayers, dragon slayers from 400 years ago were slaughtering dragons like butter
the strongest des we have seen is silver, who is pretty strong and also the fact that he could defeat end, hence i say that des is not that far behind

Right now it's devil slayer magic but we all know hiro is gonna bring a new power up for dragon slayers cos their his faves

maybe the reason there was zero effect on silvers dragon slaying magic was because natsu was just so far behind him. also, natsu has eaten god slaying magic before. but that may just be him because he's awesome. i think god slaying magic is overrated. i will say that it's mostly based on individual skill as OG dragon slayers were taking out dragons. we saw that 8 dragons couldn't be taken out even with current dragon slayers plus everybody else including the likes of makarov. just going of the fact that dragon slayers have defeated or stalemated god slayers. also considering we have only seen one type of demon slaying magic, i have to give it to dragon slayers. not to mention they can go into dragon force mode and even add another element to mix with their original.
