Could it be the SO6P's elder son ?? crazy but, interesting.
ok to be honest i have ZERO evidence to support this/far fetched, it's simply a crazy idea that i think would make the plot more interesting so please bare with me :heh: (read the conclusion if you think it's too long).

the Manga reached a point where the history of NV is being revealed, and i'm talking about the Sage's story/background and his mother's but, two people who were rarely mentioned are still out of the picture, yes i'm talking about the Sage's son's. now we have a very little/shallow info about them/their view of the world and what they wanted to achieve but, i think it's enough to support what i'm trying to say.
the reason i thought of this is because history is repeating itself, meaning while Naruto and Sasuke are fighting on the same side now, they still have different view's of the world and how to achieve peace.
Sasuke decided to do what he thinks is right/by force (just like the elder son did) by destroying the Bijuu's and changing the system, while Naruto still believes that given time people will learn to live with each other in harmony (like the younger son).
now on to the signs that matter :
sign #1: Tobirama didn't sense any presence and we are talking about the same guy that has SUPER sensing abilities (covers great distances/how he sensed Madara right after being summoned), he was focused on Sasuke then commented on how his chakra disappeared.
yet the mysterious figure appeared out of nowhere, Tobirama didn't see/sense him coming.
sign #2 : the mysterious figure appeared right after Madara became the ten tail's Jinchuuriki, and again Tobirama didn't sense him coming.
meaning this guy just appeared from thin air right after Madara became the ten tail's Jin.
CONCLUSION : is it possible that Madara's transformation unintentionally triggered something after striking down the last Uchiha that represents the Sage's elder son ?? i mean this guy appeared out of nowhere right next to Sasuke in the same area Madara preformed his ritual of becoming the ten tails Jin. is it possible that he returned to tell Sasuke what he needs to do to reach their mutual goal/what he tried to achieve and what he needs to do with the Bijuu's (his father's legacy) ?? i mean remember, one cannot kill a Bijuu, it will simply appear again somewhere else so Sasuke can't do this alone.
he needs the knowledge/insight of the elder son.
