Ok so this is a story I started writing in school... I've changed it. This is only the first chapter so I'm aware its boring.

Chapter 1
October 31st 1991 – 10:47 PM
Today is the day I was born. On the side of a road in the back of a pickup truck in the outskirts of Los Angeles. Isn’t that exiting? Maggie and Akashito, not even married have conceived their first child together, and therefore have decided to name her Kaori Mizuki. This is the story of Kaori Mizuki, the story of my life.

Feel free, if you get bored with this foreword at any time you can always skip ahead to the action, but I don’t advise it, because if I’m writing this, then there is some importance to it, don’t you think?

Occupation: Lead assassin/Head of the DSAS (Dead Silence Assassination Squad)/my father.}
I’ll try to keep this brief, because I know how boring these things can be. Basically, I lived peacefully with my mother; why I say “lived” and not “live”, you will find out soon. Anyways, My father was never around. In fact, I don’t even call him father; he is simply “Akashito” in my mind. Why my parents even got married after having me is a question that stirs my mind quite frequently, because I swear to god, the only times I’ve seen Akashito was every Christmas Day, once a year. So I guess he was our provider, because my mother and I lived in a really nice house. Even thought she was a nurse at the local hospital, it wouldn’t have been enough for the size of the house we live in. I guess he thinks it makes up for him not ever being home.
Let me just clarify a few things about Akashito. He is the leader of an assassination squad called the DSAS; which stands for The Dead Silence Assassination Squad (see profile, for I have already clarified this detail). From what I have seen of him, he seems like a great guy. I mean he is nice, almost too nice to be the leader of an assassination squad. There are times that I wish he was here a lot more, that I could have a dad instead of a provider, but I know that will not happen.
I asked my mother once why she even married him, she just replied, “You will understand once your in love.” I am only 10 years old, I don't have that kind of emotional feelings for anyone yet, and probably wont for a long time. And besides, how can you be in love with someone you hardly see? I asked her that too, she said the same thing basically, just different context.
Anyways, it was just me and my mom. We got along great! She was probably the best friend I ever had. I would tell her things in my life and she would always give me advice on what to do and not do. But her most frequent form of advice was: “Be the best person that you can be, no matter how you are treated in the end.” I didn’t have many friends in school you see, and I wasn’t exactly the popular kid, so I got picked on a lot. But I always was the best person I could be, just like my mother said. Urgg enough about this, we all get I wasn’t popular in school. Let’s get this story going shall we? It all starts on a sunny Saturday afternoon, the day my best friend went away forever…
