No she cannot visually see the sound waves. Temari used inference to attack blindly. If she did not have prior knowledge to Tayuya's Sound Genjutsu she wouldn't have used a wind jutsu that hits a mass area.

Tayuya's Sound Genjutsu + Kidomaru drill arrow one shot both Temari, and Kankuro. Fact.

On Gaara's behalf, Sound Genjutsu would act as a simple interruption. Yes, Shukaku's chakra would in fact free him, but all it would take is Kidomaru's drill/Tayuya's ghost to take him out. On top of if we want to factor in Jirobo lifting a mountain-sized/large structure to wail at Gaara during a timed stun (Tayuya's Sound Genjutsu).

S4 has too much synergy. I can argue for Gaara too, but I won't because everybody is riding him.

Arrows are blocked by Gaara's sand no diff. Genjutsu is also broken via partner method. If they're caught, all Gaara has to do is slap everyone with a bit of sand to get them out.
Jirobo is too slow to to anything. His dome technique is countered by Gaara's superior doton and chakra. Sakon is ass. Kidomaro is tricky trying to hit in the forest, but with Temari's forest level technique she'll eventually hit him. Tayuya is shitted on as well
