Okay let's get busy! Explain to me what you think Sound release is in the RP and everything you know about it in the RP and a general overview of sound in RL. ^^

To keep this simple as I said in the first post, sound is the oscillation of pressure through air or water, or basically anything else that the pressure can be transmitted through. In the RP, utilizing chakra and releasing it in constant bursts of possibly different strengths and frequencies, a ninja can apply pressure to the air or water around him with his chakra to create sound waves.

well there are many theories as to why (and we're not even certain) wind and lightning make up sound. The cutting/speeding ability would come from wind. The vibrating nature from lightning, while this also adds to the speed.
The thing is with sound, that you need extremely well balanced chakra. If you put in too much air, you can cut your vocal cords, and too much lightning... that speaks for itself.
Of course, you know as well as I do that the RP is related to this, and not the actual narutoverse as sound isn't even a real kekkei genkai.
Nonetheless, the anime/manga shows us a very versatile usage of sound. We're going to try and recreate that versatility in our way of RP'ing by thinking out of the box, but that's for later on.
Now (going through standard stuff, it's boring but needs to be done), try sending out a small sound wave (out of your mouth, but be smart and use the correct "organ"/bodypart to create the sound) that acts as a sonar and bounces off a random tree I just happen to come up with to your left.

I focus wind in my lungs and bring it up to my vocal chords. I introduce small but dense charges of lightning into the wind as it passes my throat to give the wind the ability to vibrate while sharpening the winds cutting power. I release the combined energy out of my mouth resulting in pressure changes. The pressure create small sound waves that bounce off my surroundings. I focus chakra to my ear to collect the reverberating sound waves to build an image from their collisions.

I again focus wind chakra from my lungs and move it to my throat. I try to find the correct balance between the lightning introduced to the current as it passed through my throat so that the sound achieves the correction frequency. I release the sound to bounce of my surroundings and listen to their reverberations to created an image.

Description: The user concentrating chakra into their vocal cords enhancing throat chakra lets out a scream that travels extremely fast in which can be used to deflect projectiles and send opponents flying.
Note: Travels at 315 speed
The first jutsu. Tada.
Mostly, this is used as a defensive one to block incoming things, though in my opinion this is not really how sound should be used. You could use a wind jutsu for the same effect. If you use this, i'd recommend using it as an offensive weapon to increase the speed of your kunai, while it continues towards the opponent itself as well and sends them flying.
Any thought?

No, I have no questions. It's a simple technique to understand. I agree about how the technique doesn't really seem like sound. It just pushes away objects. I believe this technique would be increased in potency by yelling "Power of Youth" while it is used to cause the listeners to fear my Youth.

Releases sound waves from my body, some of these sound waves bounce off the incoming kunai and return to me giving me an image of the kunai traveling toward me. I throw another kunai to block it.

A very very neat jutsu. The only problem I've always had with it is that it sort of looks like a jutsu that constantly uses chakra, meaning you wouldn't be able to use chakra for other techniques. On the other hand, I've also looked at mugi's CJ (which is an "upgraded version of this", though differently) and it seems to be more like a passive ability. So that's an issue (it has never been cleared up, and as you know sound needs revamping. Big time.). Now, let's just assume it's passive, what seem to be the biggest advantages and disadvantages? Think outside of the box for a minute here.

The advantage is simple: it will allow me to sense anything that the sound waves encounter.
The disadvantage is also simple: it will allow me to sense only what the sound waves encounter.
The technique cannot be used sense objects that shield themselves from the sound waves. If the opponent were to create a wall of some sort, or use a wind technique or fire technique that is large and powerful enough to stop the sound waves from passing through them, then the technique would essentially become blind to everything behind the wall or blast. The opponent is free to do anything without me being able to sense them.

One more point to note: any loud bursts of sound that is heard, such as explosions, is also amplified through your advanced hearing, meaning explosions and loud sounds are capable of causing your ears damage

(Ototon: Sumakku Te no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Clapping Hands Skill

Description: The user charges chakra into the palms of there hands, and then smash them together. The force creates chakra infused sound waves which can be used to disperse oncoming jutsu(only works on C-Rank or below jutsu).
Note: Travels at 450 speed
Now for this jutsu, it's fairly simple again. Smash your palms together with ototon chakra and that will create a sound wave. It can disperse incoming jutsus up to C-rank, including wind techniques ones. Pretty simple and straightforward (and one of the faster sound techniques), yet not really helpful as people hardly use C-rank ranged ninjutsus nowadays. Needs revamping imo.
