Kimimaro can probably hold his ground (he might even be able to beat Zabuza 1vs1), but the rest of his team aren't going to last very long against Kakashi. He might not need more than a Raikiri combo, he's a kage level shinobi as of now... while the sound 4 most likely lost to Kimimaro by getting quickly dismantled one by one through speed and taijutsu mixed up with his KG (since that's pretty much his move-set), meaning they ARE vulnerable to that type of combat style.
It makes sense too, one's the stereotypical chakra/strength monster but lacks in speed, the other one is a natural mid-long range type (even though he does have some skills in CQC, I doubt it saves him from Kakashi and his Sharingan), the female of the group is a genjutsu user along with hiding behind her summons for long range combat, and the last is probably the hardest one to physically kill, but is known for not having endurance when healing him/their selves.
Once the sound 4 are done, Kakashi is left facing Kimimaro 1vs1 assuming he's taken care of Zabuza by than. Supposing that Kakashi's Lightning clones/Raikiri/Raikiri chain won't work on him, he always has Kamui as a back-up plan. The only real problem I see Kimimaro providing that can potentially kill Kakashi is bone forest, but even than I'm weary to assume that Kakashi will let down his guard like Gaara did, since he'll know that Kimimaro is probably alive unlike Gaara who thought he was resting several meters below ground.
Eh by the way, Kidomaru's style has a lot to do with out-thinking his enemy and going about a tactical approach. This is more effective against ninja with a single style of fighting (a.k.a. Neji's close quarter approach) but less so against ones that have loads of jutsu to choose from, as it stops them from having to follow the scenario that Kidomaru puts them in.
