The sage of six paths is known as the founder of ninjutsu and can breathe life into things. In other words he's a big deal and so famous in the naruto universe that people believe his power is a myth.
his concept of power is constantly changing in naruto as we see new villians and the abilities of naruto grow expotentially. Before we thought zabuza was a boss and now we questioning if he can beat yamato.
Same thing happened with pein. His whole god theme and "pein has never lost a battle", Kishi had to activate plot no jutsu for naruto to get sagemode that fast and beat him...It was a bit odd how strong he suddenly got but it still worked and made sense.
This is how naruto works
Strong villian-power is unkown and he turns out to be as strong as he was rumoured
Naruto/good guys- Beat villian in intense struggle
Naruto- gets villian's power and the what we define "a strong ninja" as changes.
Another stronger villian comes out- whose power is unkown and stronger than naruto
If the so6p is revealed and his powers are shown to be the strongest in the series, holding true with the legend nobody should be able to achieve his power level. The definition of what it is to be powerful will completely change and villians such as Madara , Tobi, etc... seem insignificant.
it's happening right now with Madara, he's toying with the kages and we are just loling at how weak they are compared to Hashi and Madara. The concept of power evolved and the kages have become insignificant in the series in terms of power.
When 5 kages become insignifcant in the series something is wrong and what people consider kage/s-rank level ninja does not hold the same power status as what it used to.
Summary-
Therefore I propose that Kishi should not reveal the so6p's power because then other characters will seem insignificant as our definition of "strong power" will change. If he gives naruto a power boost and resolves it or introduces another ninja/villian stronger than the so6p, then it goes against the legend of the so6p. Meaning a paradox.
