Why is everybody saying that the Sage of Six Paths has red hair due to connection with the Uzumaki Clan? Some people even say the Sage was an Uzumaki.

How could he? I'm curious for the evidence of this. Didn't the Sage's eldest son make the Senju Clan which branched off into the Uzumaki Clan?

They're both "distantly related" so it could go either way.

He could also have Yellow/Blonde/Gold hair. I'd like him better if he'd have Red hair though.

Sage didn't belongs to any clan but Senju,Uchiha,Hyuga and Uzumaki are the decendents of sage.....in my openion only Senju and uzumaki are decendants of sage and Uchiha are the decendents of Juubi....Sage got Rinnegan after he became the Jinchuriki of Juubi like Madara got Rinnegan after he became one with Hashi's body........
