At least Kishi made up for it at the end with giving him the DMS (even if it was an asspull) was still cool. And then he became Hokage so all an all I can forgive Kishi for this.

The anime actually did a great job of making this panel seem like here say though. But I see what you're getting at here. In the manga he just shrugged it off and said it kind of casually like it was just an excuse to fight with Kakashi XD

Yeah I completely agree. It didn't emphasize too much on that part as it focused more on his fight with Kakashi. That episode's animation in the Kamui dimension was good. It felt like episode 322, Madara vs SA.

In the manga, it was as if everytime Obito brought up Rin to Kakashi the pace would be much slower. I am being honest here, if Obito forgot about Rin like Naruto embraced Jiraiya's death then his fight would become legit. It was the excuses and the flashbacks that destroyed the manga man.

Yeah mate i would be happy if guy died a heroic death rather than handicapped for life, if anyone needs a gaiden / movie i think it should be these two post war kakashi and guy covering all characters making them the main leads trust me it would be awesome.
