But the greatest and most vital differnce:

Love:
Kushina was attracted to Minato from the beginning . . . .
Sakura was "Sasuke . . . . ", and Naruto is only secondary choice.
Hinata like and loved Naruto from very early on.

Kushina didn't like minato from the beginning

but it does seem sakura still likes sasuke

and in the same chapter it had hinata thinking about naruto

it probably symbolizes something

So are you saying Sakura's supposed to be like Kushina and Tsunade? So confusing... I should just go to sleep.

But the greatest and most vital differnce:

Love:
Kushina was attracted to Minato from nearly the beginning . . . .
Sakura was "Sasuke . . . . ", and Naruto is only secondary choice, and her confession was in a way forced out by Sai.
Hinata like and loved Naruto from very early on.

If u notice that, Kushina thought Minato weak but did not dislike him, like Sakura who at first denied food to Naruto in the bell test. Also note that Kushina looked at Minato out of all the boys, and that gotta count for something. At least Kushina does not have history with any boys.

Other difference:

1. Sakura cant cook. While Minato loved Kushina's cooking.
2. Kushina does not usually hit anyone without a lot of provocation. Where Sakura just goes breserk at the slightest stimulus.
3. Kushina can stand up for herself and does not wallow in self pity.
4. Kushina never hit Minato.
etc

Sakura loses at the most vital similarity: She does not love Naruto . . . .

+ Also i dont think Kishi wld be wasting a character by making it love Naruto from the very beginning.

Actually people tend to marry people who are similar to their parents, sons seem to be more attracted to women who resemble aspects of their mother, and vice versa for women. The theory is people attempt to recreate a life similar to what they grew up with its only natural to be attracted to something your used to.

I've never seen Kushina hit Minato.
So when she meant choose a girl like her...
She meant someone who would never hit the person she loves. =DD

Even more reason for naruto to end up with hinata. Who wants to marry their mum eww........

There's a saying Every boy grows up to marry his own mother

I've heard of that, as well as the opposite that females want to grow up to marry their fathers. This doesn't mean incest or anything like that it just means generally the want for somebody to take care of them, nurture them, protect them, etc. Which is why when people have messed up parental relationships then things begin to go wrong...

Though I believe we're missing a train of Kushiha that Hinata has herself, being ridiculed and exiled and Naruto was the person who encouraged her thus the reason for her love and affection for him.

Same as with Kushiha who was a Jinchuuriki that everybody hated and Minato showed the interest in her which made the difference in her life.

Besides, Naruto's already been commented to be more like his mother than his father, so meh.

Very nice read, I forgot Minato helped Kushina the same way Naruto helped Hinata, very good analysis
