Here I'm gonna compare two characters:
Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto:
Valvatorez from Disgaea series:
1-The looks:
they have alot on common when it comes to looks like the hair style popped up collars red eyes pale skin
even their older forms look similar with the same clothing style and near identical hairstyle:
2-Both favor swords for weapons.
3-Both met and fought the the so called "God" of their respective worlds.
4-Both wanted to maintain peace through fear and their methods were viewed as tyranny but both had noble goals and were willing to become an object of fear and hatred for the sake of their plans but changed their ways after a life changing event.
5-Both get the pink haired girl with healing abilities in the end:
6-Both are one of the strongest characters of their respective verses if not the strongest (co strongest in sasuke's case with naruto)
7-People view them as evil in the beginning but they learn that they are good once they get to know them
8-Both defeated many strong people (akatsuki members and danzo on sasuke's case and president hugo and other overlords in valvatorez's case) helped their worlds and saved it once (sasuke helping stoping edo tensei, defeating obito, undoing IT, sealing kaguya and defeating fear the great and saving earth in valvatorez's case) and they don't take credit for any of it nor brag about it.
9-Both are of the best characters of their respective series.
10-both have their over-protective body guards(to the point that they may sound gay) :
