They're not dead Kish only kills off characters to make other characters grow. There serves no point in killing shika's pops and the rest of HQ also Kish just killed off a few characters. Ino's dad, shika's dad, Raikages assistant and Ao. I think the blast a far away for someone to create a shield or barrier but HQ is probably destroyed. HQ would be back along with the kages.
