That's right. You all read the free translations. But after reading the Viz scan, I have come to find out the true nature of that place with all the masks.

It was not a temple!

The real name of that place is the Uzumaki Noh Mask Hall

What is Noh?

Noh (能 Nō?), or Nogaku (能楽 Nōgaku?)—derived from the Sino-Japanese word for "skill" or "talent"—is a major form of classical Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century. Many characters are masked, with men playing male and female roles. Traditionally, a Noh "performance day" lasts all day and consists of five Noh plays interspersed with shorter, humorous kyōgen pieces. However, present-day Noh performances often consist of two Noh plays with one Kyōgen play in between.
While the field of Noh performance is extremely codified, and regulated by the iemoto system, with an emphasis on tradition rather than innovation, some performers do compose new plays or revive historical ones that are not a part of the standard repertoire. Works blending Noh with other theatrical traditions have also been produced.

The Uzumaki Noh Mask Hall was a theater of sorts, a place where a certain traditional dance was performed in front of an audience.

That place was a hiding spot for the one mask that was significant to the Uzumaki clan and held an important secret and meaning.
It was carefully shrouded by many other masks so that no one would think twice about it.

Orochimaru knew which one it was because he has seen the Reaper's face personally, that is the only way to tell the difference!

So what did you learn?

that the viz versions are way better than manga panda, not throwing them under the bus, but I bet alot of arguments are going on right now over poor translations, how much does the viz cost?

$5 for the volumes and 26 dollars for a yearly subscription.

I think he can't seeing as it's paid for, and only 26 bucks? Pretty soon I'll be saying screw the free ones myself, lol

I saw you talking about the viz version the other day, but I really didn't think it was anything to get worked up over. I kept seeing huge inaccuracies between manga panda and manga stream, I didn't know they had huge oversights such as that, I'm definitely getting a yearly subscription ASAP

Do you pay per volume or via subscription? Which do you think is better?

I'd figure the yearly one is seeing as most likely you'll have to pay more buying them individually

Guess it's time to get that. $26 a year isn't bad at all. I guess I'll wait for the manga to finish and reread in the viz translation.

I'm buying the volumes for the one's I haven't read through Viz. If you get a subscription, you will not have access to the chapters that came out before you got the subscription.

I got one yesterday so I could only read chapter 618. But I have purchased volume 59 and 60 and I am waiting on volumes 61 and up, those are the one's I really want.

Same here, I'll gladly pay small a premium for a top notch translation, 26$ for a year is nothing

I'll probably do that, buy the yearly subscription and go back and buy a few volumes later on

In that case I'll just get all the volumes when the manga finishes.

The volumes and membership are separate. Remember, I made this mistake yesterday, I thought if I got a subscription I would have access to all the chapters but I was wrong. You can only have the current and future chapters, not the previous one's. For those, you will have to buy the volumes.

I know, I mainly don't want anything other than the war arc really, I may forgo the subscription and just buy the volumes

Well good luck waiting, the volumes are released after very long periods of time. The next one that has chapters 576 to 585 will be released in May.

How so?
