I love that some people believe that Minato actually fought Kurama's half of chakra in the demon's belly. Furthermore, to elaborate on the point I'm making, people believe when inside the demon, they actually fight. This has been proven untrue. How, might you ask?
Minato sealed himself, and half of Kurama inside the demon.
11-12 years later, Orochimaru's arms, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen, were sent there as well.
Though, when they get to the Uchiha shrine, Hashirama is like, "Who are you!" to Minato. He didn't even know he existed.
A seperate dimension can't be argued, because they all came directly out of the stomach when Orochimaru undid the binding.
To conclude, it can be said once in the Shiki Fujin, they are sent to, "The Void", as Hashirama proves. They don't meet anyone in there, and kinda just chill by themselves.
