There have been no female with Sharingan in the show. It has not been stated that they cannot attain Sharingan but rather that it was an Uchiha trait.

It's reasonable to think they could get it for sure but there is no proof of this.
Just cause you don't have proof though,doesn't make it untrue. Evidence points towards it being possible for the womenses to get Sharingan.
