Litten is the cat, right? I'd go with the cat, because:
- I love cats
- I love fire-starters
- It looks like it evolves into a fire/dark Pokemon
- Grass-starters never appealed to me
- It doesn't look so stupid like the water one xD

Litten.
None are really aesthetically pleasing but Fire is consistently my favorite starter, aside from gens 3 & 5. Don't really like Delphox from gen 6 but I haven't done a Froakie run yet so not sure on fav from gen 6. Fenniken atm though.
Everybody's raging about the water starter but I think he has aesthetic potential as he gets older assuming that he he doesn't get fat. If anything the Owl grass type is the lost cause. But as I said, I don't particularly like any of them.
