Note, not an Apull, but convenient for what must inevitably happen. Sasuke's pretty much confirmed to survive this, so he has to be redeemed by Naruto. Well, going by the direction of the manga, Naruto will be changing the world, but it's also heavily implied that Sasuke would have to have a part and cooperate as well. That means people have to accept him.


That's what's so convenient about this fight. Sasuke has ways that are very popular with other shinobi.

He has the potential to influence the ninja world. However, if they saw him trying to kill the kages, Naruto, and the bijus, no one would follow him. That's why it's perfect for everyone to be under IT. It could very well be that only Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi will see Sasuke like this, which enables him to be a driving force to support Naruto in changing the world.

They chose it specifically for its meaning (Symbolism) to both of them.

Its not something that your pointing out as if your exposing kishi for a horrible writer who thinks he has masterfully inserted this background without anyones knowledge to make this battle have more "depth"

I agree with you, however when you said others have to accept Sasuke that is true but what is of more importance is that Sasuke has to accept others such as the TB, newly formed shinobi alliance, and Kage system especially from seeing how its quite obvious Kakashi becomes the 6th Hokage and Gaara still being alive. It would mean Sasuke comes to Naruto's terms rather Naruto going with Sasuke's terms, I dont see Sasuke getting anything he plans to achieve through his way. And about VoTE, Im no psych but I just had this feeling that they were going to go there and settle their dispute. Im very glad they are fighting there, its a nostalgic scenery.

No one will ever suspect sasuke either. Unfortunately, Kakashi, naruto and Sakura were killed after madara cast infinite tsukiyomi, right before he went to finish off the Gokage.

Then sasuke defeated madara in a nonspecific way involving a turtle on a stick, three onions, Konohamaru's goggles and a Herring sandwich.
