So, I was jw, what so special about the Senju? Every clan has a special ability, no?

Uchiha- Rinnegan
Hyuga- Byakugun
Akimichi- Expansion
Aburame- Insects
Etc. Etc. Etc.

What about Senju?

My opinion: It seems each person in Senju has a different specialty. Tobirama has water, Hashirama has wood, that one chick has genjutsu. So what ever their specialty is, they are the best at it. Tobirama is known as the best Water user, Hashirama wood, and this means that chick would be the best genjutsu user. I also believe there was a fire style user the Senju clan better than madara at it.

The Senju clan are supposed to be the users who inherited the body of The Sage, so it's safe to assume it is their Body that is their specialty. This can be interpreted in multiple ways, such as better chakra control, substantially-higher chakra controls, et cetera. This is especially helpful to them, because they are able to be adept at whatever they are native in, not to mention being skilled at secondary skills. In conclusion, they are the clan who is the most flexible of The Sons.

naah i doubt they are always the best at what they do. I doubt that genjutsu chick ur talking about comes anywhere near itachi or shisui. They just have powerful bodies,natural energy, and spirit just like the younger son. That is what they are known for

Senjus had great stamina, good candidates for SM, the clan had around 1000 jutsu's some of them should be very OP and useful.
So u can expect many well rounded powerful shinobies given talent and time to master all that.

Senju clan were known as a clan of 1000 jutsu, also they have the body of the Sage while the Uchiha clan which posses the Sharingan have the eyes of the Sage, both equally powerful in various ways.
