The seeming absence of the Uchiha Massacre

We've seen how Naruto has thrown himself into battle for defeating the man who killed his parents by unleashing the Nine tails upon Konoha. But does anyone else feel as if the significance of the Uchiha massacre has been thrown out the window? I would have thought that that would have been one of Sasuke's main reasonings for fighting. To kill the man who started it all in the first place. But now it just feels kind of... Negated.

I don't know if that's what Madara will bring to the table, I was just kind of disappointed that it hasn't been mentioned.

well, Madara hasn't even acknowledged Sasuke's exisitence yet. And Obito hasn't really either, he has just been fighting him by default. But his main focus is Naruto.

Madara has no knowledge of the uchiha massacre.
Besides sasuke hs already come to a resolution on that.
It would be really time consuming for him to just start talking about the massacre everyone around the battlefield would look puzzled telling sasuke it as itachi then he would have to go into a brief explanation and obito will just end up saying more or less the same thing he has been saying this entire time.
