yea....i think obito will use him to try and get rid of naruto.....there was a picture in the manga where the bijuus were kids and so6p said somebody else will reunite them but not like him (in a good way i presume coz the juubi was destruction)....that's naruto but i dont think its just naruto but naruto+sasuke in some way....
the tablet has to do something with the plan coz madara was the leader of the clan that possessed it....i think that sasuke's reference to "the ones who know everything" has something to do with how to defeat the juubi
Yea, i think when sasuke meets with the ones that know everything, everything will be revealed concerning the SO6P and perhaps the true purpose behind the Moon's Eye Plan, because i seriously doubt that Madara wants to just put a Genjutsu on the entire world and just create a Matrix like reality...
NICE THREAD but about the secret of tablit and the sage and all of that i think that most of what has been said bout the sage isnt all true otherwise why would kish keep telling us with itachi that itachi and madera and kabuto are liers i bet we will find out that the sage is split up into 3 parts or maybe even 4 like the tailed beast, lifeforce, chakra, eyes, and spirit or somthing like that and the rinnagan are unlocked not by uchiha and senju but someother way and they are supposed to be used to see the truth the truth is on the tablit and the tablit will show the truth of the reason of ninjutsu

As someone pointed out Nagato already had the Rinnegan beforehand so Obito didn't have the opportunity to read the final message. Other than the speculations it's a pretty good summary. One thing that would be nice is a rundown of confirmed times when the Uchiha tablet was viewed, by who and the state of their Dojutsu. To my knowledge no one has had the opportunity (yet) to view the tablet with the Rinnegan.
Let me indulge in some speculation of my own. The true purpose of the tablet is yet to be revealed but one thing is certain. The methods of obtaining higher level Dojutsu already serve as a deterrent. It took Madara a lifetime to achieve the Rinnegan and he was one of the most gifted. So there is something else contained there that must stay hidden and may even be specifically hidden from someone/thing. Some will argue that it was hidden to prevent someone like Orochimaru from obtaining it's secrets but outsiders knowing some of the info doesn't sufficiently explain it since obtaining and using a Sharingan effectively comes with it's own set of challenges that can never be completely overcome. The power ups were not enough to entice Orochimaru to use them even though he clearly had access to materials. (Sharingan and Senju DNA).

THis brought something up to my mind, why didn't Tobi go and read the tablet once he received the Rinnegan, or is it possible that Madara had a chance to read the tablet after awakening the Rinnegan before he died?

First of all great thread, sure it has some inaccuracies but I get the jist of what the OP was trying to say.
Well think of it this way, does it really matter for either Madara or Obito what the tablet actually says? Whatever it says, which could hold some big secret, it would not affect what they are trying to do. The whole reason why Madara and Obito are doing what they are doing is because of the state that the ninja world was in, to try and achieve some sort of peace within a world of hatred that the ninja have created through the village system. Kind of ironic that what they wanted to achieve is actually standing in front of them via the Shinobi Alliance.
The only issue I have with all these whole SO6P/Uchiha/Senju theories is that how come it's only the Uchiha and Senju who seem to have been linked to the SO6P and his son's yet the Uzumaki are supposedly distant relatives of the Senju? Plus where does the Byakugan come into all this? I refuse to believe that both and many other things have no link to the SO6P.

Very True! The uchiha tablet is no longer of concern to madara or obita as they plan on creating a new reality in which the tablet will play no significance.
Also i think that the Byakugan is simply the weaker version of the Sharingan that was created through the generations probably through some mutation. I sill cant help to believe that the tablet isn't quiet finished and there is something more to be revealed regarding it.
exactly this is exactly what i believe i think that most of what we know about the sage is only part of the truth and it is twisted other wise why would itachi go on and on about madera kabuto and himself being liers to give hint to us that we will find out the truth eventually i think the sage split probalby into six diffent things i think he was called the sage of six paths not becasue the rennagon becasue the rennagon were only part of his power but i think becasue he had 6 elements to his overall power like eyes,spirit,lifeforce(chakra),tool,summoning or sealing, juubi (tailed beasts). because after i watched narutos sage training and all of that i realized that that old frog is supper old like sage of six paths old and everything in the ninja world comes from him so everything has to
Hmmm it's actually very possible that the elder toad could be older than the Sage. I wonder what kind of insight he has in the legends of the Sage. And I dont think the SO6P created everything, i mean there were people around long before the sage, he simply revolutionized the use of chakra.

I don't believe he was able and was probably hooked to the GM at the time. He was so old he was probably having to work through Zetsu for most things. Zetsu would be able to record but it would still be recording with his own eyes and image playback would be directly to the mind. Plus an old Uchiha entering the shrine where it was hidden would have raised questions.

Both the Sharingan and Byakugan are mutations I believe; when the elder son inherited the Sage's eyes they looked different to his fathers and according to Kakashi the Hyuga are Konoha's oldest clan, which leads me to believe that the Byakugan came before the Sharingan. According to the link below, Kakashi says the Uchiha's clan origins lay with the Hyuga so there has to be some link between the two in order for this to be rumoured.

I also believe that neither is weaker than the other but have different purposes, the Hyuga have shown to be quite good shinobi and are considered one of Konoha's great clans. I guess the only dark part is the whole main/branch family business but this comes out of protecting the Byakugan's secrets than anything else.

In my honest opinion I don't believe the SOSP wrote any text on the tablet. Look at this way, the SOSP chose the younger son due to his belief that love is the way to peace, so why would the SOSP write information that only the older son descendants could read which provides them with a means to achieve more power?

yess you are right but no one said it ultimatley leads to power it shows you how to keep getting the higher eye well i bet the rennagan show the "Truth of ninjutsu" or some hippie way of viewing the world

yes but i bet once they have reached the power they wanted like the rennagon and read the tablit again i bet the tablit will show them why power isnt everything or something like that to change the person

I disagree for this reason. Who could have written something which can only be viewed by the rinnegan? Only someone with that Dojutsu would be able to perform something like that. MS, EMS, and Rinnegan are too unique for someone to have figured out a writing system that only they would be able to use. This leaves me with the conclusion that the story of the younger and elder son is not completely accurate. In the only image of the So6P and his sons together at his deathbed all three are shadowed and the sons are separated from the Sage by some kind of thin veil. I believe I know the reason why but will let you puzzle it out. The final message will most likely identify the one that the messages are intended to be hidden from.

How about the Elder son?
He was hell bent on revenge after he lost the successor-ship to his younger brother brother and fought his younger brother, it would make sense if he wrote the tablet, in fact it would make more sense than the Sage himself. I do not believe the Sage would do up a tablet, it would be like a cope out to the younger son he chose as his successor.
If anyone is interested in the final message on the Uchiha Tablet, i have created a specific thread just for that with a poll. Feel free to hop on over there and discuss your theories. =)
