chapter 3
(Eggman teamed with a mysterious character known as Vexus the bounty hunter who had interest in knuckles.together they ambushed sonic and his friends with vexus kidnapping knuckles and stealing the master emerald.)
Knuckles awakes after his unconciousness.he notices that he has been chained to a wall vertically with the master emerald standing a few metres infront of him.As he wonders what is going on Vexus arrives.
Vexus:hello knuckles,welcome to my research facility which is also my humble abode only just that not in this circumstances
Knuckles:who are you and what do you want with me and the master emerald
Vexus;you still haven't figured out yet.well that's ok since you lost your memory prince knuckles.(chuckles with a grin)

rince?!What on earth do you mean?
Vexus:so many questions.perphas i will start with the reason why i kidnapped you and the master emerald.it's simple i want to open the warp gate of the master emerald to planet Sereus also known as the planet of emeralds
Knuckles:such a thing doesn't exist.you must be mad.
Vexush really.well it really exist it is the life planet of the master emerald,the chaos and sol emeralds and the only way to open the gate is if any of the royal family of the echidnas open it.(he removes his mask and knuckles sees that he is a mauraunder)
Knuckles:you are a maurander.but i could have sworn we defeated every last one of you.
Vexus:wrong. i'm not part of those ignorant fools who lost to your friends .i think i will let you know why you are a royal prince and you don't know.
(he points his index finger on knuckles forehead and they are taken in a trance to the kingdom of the echidnas as in a flashback where there had been a serious war and many echidnas has been destroyed.In the castle a queen echidna holds her baby with sadness while two echidnas of which one of them happens to be knuckles father who is the king and the other his elder brother.
Chapter 4:the forgotten past
king Radin:Marina,take the baby and go. you two must leave by the secret tunnel while scion and i handle that alien that has defeated our forces.
Marina:No i can't allow that.i don't want to lose you both
Scion:mum there is no time.please take my little bro and go, father and i will take care of this.too bad for me that i won't get enough time to spend with my little bro.but,i'm sure he has your bravery and intelligence and the stubborness of dad.(he touches the little baby) knuckles.we may not see you again, but whatever happens protect the master emerald.you might be the last person to open the gate to the planet.i'm sure your own powers will come in due time.
(the castle doors are being banged heavily and they are breaking.)
King radin:marina.it's now or never.Please go.
Marina;ok,please return safely.(she takes the secret tunnel and runs away while the the others wait to fight.The doors are destroyed with a huge blast and enters the alien that defeated the echidnas along with Vexus).
King radin:Vexus,how can you betray us after the hospitality we showed to you when you were critically wounded from your own people that abandoned you.
Vexus:sorry but this alien and i have come to take the master emerald and you son.right now.
Scion:have i told you that i have hated your guts for a long time i saw you.
King radin:scion let's go
(they both charge forward to vexus and the alien.the queen runs outside the castle and hears the loud painful cries coming from the castle.tears come from her eyes knowing that her hushand and son are gone and the baby begins to cry.she takes the spacecraft carrying the master emerald and flies to a place a bit far from the castle to a forest where she meets an old friend called master vertium the hawk.
Vertium:i'm sorry for what happened your highness.
Marina;please,master Vertium.you are the one who knows about the power of the master emerald and the chaos and sol emeralds.I want you to train my son knuckles just as you trained my son scion and my husband.please protect him and don't tell him about his past.that is my last wish
(she starts to feel dizzy and weak and falls down)
Vertium:Your highness!!!!.(he tries to wake her up but notices that she is gone after too much pain and sorrow.hawkin looks at the crying baby).i promise your highness i will do as you have asked.
